Just a heads up, that “green” Loctite, Loctite 270, is for wicking applications. It is intended to be applied AFTER the bolts are tightened. You might want to try the “red” stuff, Loctite 263, when you want high strength and are applying before screwing in the threads. Also, in case people don’t know. There are lots of Loctite in the same color. Not all “green” or “red” is the same stuff.

i like when its far away and you can fully hear how loud it really is. when it gets close, the camera mic auto-limits the audio so you dont get the scale of the sound

The size is really the only thing they have going for them, it's ridiculous that an rc car this expensive comes with an underpowered engine, there should be no such thing as a more powerful engine than the stock one. It also breaks way too easily.

@@mikeallan7740 the over powered engine is why it breaks so easy. That and if the jumps were to scale of the truck. It would be like jumping a fullsize monster truck hundreds of feet into the air. Something has to give when you land it wrong and sometimes even when you land it right.😅😂

Have you looked into having the diffs modified for a bigger diff cups same with the transmission center drive. Harder parts are only part of the solution it needs the parts to be physically bigger to handle the power. Looking at where they brake there's room to redesign for a bigger shafts where they pass through the diff housing. Keep up the great content 👍
I think the only place to show a video of the World's Biggest RC Car launching into the sky, the best monster truck among monster truck RCs, is the Kevin Talbot channel. I felt joy while watching the video. It's really great.💕💕😁😁👍👍

The RC10 GT (the black original chasis) was my first nitro car I got way back in the late 90s. Loved racing that thing, the throttle hung on it and it rapidly self disassembled itself.
Manufacturer: designs lots of parts to make a good open differential Kevin: lets make it locked with earplugs
I noticed it's a limited slip differential also. Seems a big waste to lock it. But for simply a basher I guess it doesn't matter.
As soon as the Raminator comes out to the park, it saw its first target and rammed it!🤣🤣🤣 "Come here little guy, nom nom!"
With the bash body, kev could maybe do the shoe goo and drywall tape thing he does with his other bashers, it would also hold together the cracks and splits that are already there, so it'd look like they aren't there'ish

To call a Tamiya TT-01 ‘an almost toy grade RC’ is underwhelming. One of the best touring cars of all times with the most relistic bodies out there. Lots of fun to build and play with

Content is king right now. America is a vast vast country. The bad stuff that gets publicized is really small portion. think like 3-5% of this huge Huge country. There are really many great spots and places, people to visit here. Especially when it comes to the hobbyist community. I wish a TV executive or someone with some pull would see this. Kevin draws views. Views equal money. If they could just bring him to America for like 6 weeks in the summer and put him in a really nice RV and give him the budget to assemble a decent collection of RC stuff and maybe a trailer workshop to tow around and just let him hit the spots in America then I’m telling you that the return would be infinitely more than you put into it and the content created would be absolutely Epic. That’s all I’m saying. The man is what the hobby is all about. Look at his channel views. It speaks for itself. He’s like Superman in a phone booth right now but if you bust him out and let him rip I’m telling you just the thought of WoW at what the entertainment and awesomeness you’re going to see. Here’s to hoping someone with the power to offer that see’s this Kev, you deserve it. Cheers

Last comment lol.. what I would like to see is some Organised racing at that large Astro track you go to with specific classes and have a monster truck race, desert truck race and a 1/5 meeting etc. That place looks amazing. Maybe even team endurance race for 20 / 30 mins or so . A livestream of the event would be so epic where we could all chat and watch the racing!

Awesome. I think those diff cups need a total redesign. The hollow shaft and the two opposing flats have taken loads of material out of it.
For a second I thought you built your real monster truck and then fitted servos to make it remote control. But then, I guess it wouldn't be allowed at the skate part....

16:55 It's a Tamiya TT-02 kev... and it's definately hobby grade, we race it at the Aldershot MCC in the Club Sport and Super Sport classes for beginners (with lots of hop-ups)

You beat the snot out of everything you drive, some things don’t survive, but the one thing you beat more than anything and it’s still hanging on is that bell! How has that bell lasted all these years?
That ramanator is a beast sounds great, must be a little intimidating to drive that truck,very cool!
They need to put some type of slipper clutch into the driveline of that truck, and that would lessen the breakage
You should get a twin cylinder engine for one of the raminator's. Those twin cylinder engine sound so cool and they probably make more low end torque to help move all that weight.
You need to fit one of those miniature supercharged V8s and put zoomie headers on it!
