Kenyans, Can we please agree to the fact that kilimani is a middle class area not a rich area...in rich areas of nairobi , you dont see the houses , you only see perimeter walls , huge gates n security guys...anything less is a middle class
Kilimani is middle class
I agree
This is exactly what I have been saying!
Muthaiga is the richest
What about Karen and runda?
Kenya's a must - visit destination, yearning to c'over this year! Much love from NYC❤❤❤
You are so much welcome here. I promise you you'll love it.
13:24 the baby's english is so good 🥹🥹 I bet her Dad is such an awesome father for her to have such perfect accent
Indeed! That was the highlight for me. Beautiful and articulate little girl. I am sure her parents are proud of her. I wish he had shown us more of the less rich side too!
Kenya is not Poor!!! its a really fun because i Live there
Kenya is beautifull especially the swahili language. Showing love from Washington DC
oh thank you am kenyan :D
Hi Gabi,I'm from South Africa, and I really appreciate you showing the different lifestyles in Africa 🌍 .Stay humble and caring ❤.
Thank you 🙏🏻
I hope to visit kenya too love from Philippines 🇵🇭
Much welcome gal🎉🎉 All is here😅😅
Karibu Kenya❤
Welcome 🤗
Welcome and free accommodation will be provided for you
I love you too baby. Welcome to Kenya ❤.
I have been to Kenya some 45 times, and own property there. I had an absence of 10 years when I returned, I hardly recognized Nairobi, so much had changed. Many places I knew had closed, with many new ones. The city is looking great, but the Nairobi Expressway blights the city, a big white elephant with very little traffic on it. Driving from the airport, it just cuts off your whole view, The JKIA once dominated the city skyline is barely visible now. Lots of nice tall buildings have been erected.
Good
The expressway has toll stations, meaning that it has a fee, so people tend to avoid it during off-peak hours. It's usually busy though, during peak hours
Change is especially hard when you dislike the result. Sorry you're disappointed; I know how it is. I have been to Kenya five times. It changes every time. Some of the changes are wonderful whereas some things I would like to change are still there. I wish there were not speed bumps on Thika highway.
It really messed up the Westlands area. I hope they do finishing touches.
@jessica76311 for sure. Especially hapo one africa place
Sir thank you for showing some of the things to be admired in our beautiful motherland. Most western media only show the negative side of Kenya @nd Africa but you've done us some justice. I hope next you visit other parts of Kenya and you'll love it.
Heyy am Kenyan and I'd say showing both sides of Kenya is the real meaning of travelling and also showing how people are friendly even in the poor side speaks alot. You do your thing 👍
Yes, thanks for your kind words 🙏🏻
Ok. So you can show us small poor children in a dirty environment? If someone challenges you to show or produce footage of small rich kids dancing and looking happy CAN YOU SHOW THAT?
One thing at a time. Maybe next is kibera slum. Stay tuned 😅😅
It's terrible how internet shows kenya This vedio opened my eyes ❤
I visited Kenya about 30 years ago, stayed in Nairobi some of the time and even then, compared to Boston where I lived Nairobi was at least as modern and certainly bigger. But most interesting for me was the huge variety of animals seen. On my first full day , mostly Maasai Mara I saw 28 distinct species of animals, we drove within feet of lions. It was phenomenal. The people were also great in that they were all trained for whatever jobs they had. Our tour driver had 3 years formal schooling to drive safely, know the roads and sights and teach tourists about the animals etc. I see all of the attention to detail is paying off. Love it.
If it was 30 years ago then you haven’t been
You wouldn't recognize anything if you revisit today we've been building
Yes last time I saw Nairobi what's 1995 even then it was beautiful absolutely beautiful
Am proud of my country 🇰🇪🇰🇪 love from Saudi Arabia
Keif halek?
Sometimes kindnesses is the only thing you can do in this world....I love that black man he has a good heart like you you can be human to see how they live with nothing but still can smile....
Kenya is the most luxurious country you can be in. I'm saying this because I'm born and raised in Kenya 🇰🇪🇰🇪
You've captured quite unique material for anyone curious of seeing how (the modern side) of Nairobi really looks like. Love the drone shots!
What a nice little surprise seeing you here as I've followed some of your Kenyan content before :D
im from nairobi
i love your videos
@@brxan3096 🙏🏻☺️
@@samkevin 🙏🏻😊
The little girl English intonation is on flique, i love it!!
💯 I need to know who's teaching her English 😅 I was like huh?
Perhaps they live in Kibera but she is schooled in the rich schools. Also some Kenyans choose to live humble lives but own immense land and are comfortable. I get the vibe that the tour guide didn't show his property land or businesses in the country side, he just showed one of his residences while in Nairobi.
most kids in Nairobi nometer where they stay speak good english
Your channel is so amazing. In a short while, you managed to go from unknown to me to one of my top 5 (if not higher) travel vloggers. Thanks for showing us so many amazing spots, helping me to curate my own travel plans etc. Good job.
🙏🏻🙏🏻
Love this video so much! This is where we spend time when in Nairobi! Thanks so much for showing this in a respectful way with curiosity and without disbelief.
I love that lil girl,,,she spoken so good!!
I simply love kenya. What a lovely pair of guys. Love you both . Nairobi is great place . I love the malls and the markets. Kenya has too much to offer though kenya does not know how to show her beauty off. Thanks for people like you showing the world what kenya is made of. Please explore everywhere including the beautiful islands on lake victoria especially mfangano. The water is tranquil and stunning and there is a mountain road round the island. Let me stop there so that one day you will tell us what it is . Welcome and all the best
Hi Gabi. Such an eye opener to see Nairobi's neighborhoods. I too enjoy the humble experiences. Cant wait for your next episode
Great video as always! The most wonderful and rewarding thing about travel is connecting with the people! You do it so well! Thanks for taking us along!
Thank you 🙏🏻
Thank you for visiting the less rich side, albeit briefly! That is one beautiful little girl and she does indeed speak good English!
Be blessed abundantly for putting a smile on those kids. Wish you a safe adventure in Kenya
Gabi, I loved your video. I also appreciate tour other videos -especially the 7 things.... I totally agree eith you on everything ans dound your video to display teie Naorobi. I would love for you to return to Kenya multiple times. I ha e been there five times. I always learn something new each time I travel there. The people of Kenya are the best. They are resilient, smart, kind, loving, hospitable. Kenya boasts heavenly topography from white sandy beaches to snow capped mountains. The animal preserves host the best safari tours, the tea plantations and the flora make it look like Garden of Eden. Your video was honest and reliable. Thank you.
13:21 Ok, where did his daughter get her Valley Girl California accent?? 😮😅 too cute ❤
Dont worry about what others say. This is your journey. Youre not just showing poor sides you are showing the humanity in the places you travel.
The problem is , when he’s in Europe or the USA he doesn’t go to the slums, he stays in the nice areas, he doesn’t show homeless people covering the sidewalks or drug attics talking to themselves, so if you don’t do it in Europe then don’t do it in Africa
@@jarodwilson4946 omg please. this is so insufferable. He's not doing anything with malice intent. He's literally shaking hands and treating everyone as an equal and going to their homes. He's not saying look at all the poors. This woke shit really is ruining society. Because y'all are attacking the wrong people.
The kid's English is out of this world.
Gabi - Wow, what a wonderful video! I loved seeing everything… rich to poor…. to the modern malls and the wild animals. So exciting for me! I have chills just seeing those big giraffes so close!
Glad to hear that 😉🙏🏻
Aaaaw that little princess 🥺🥰 Richard daughter her English 👌🏽 and she is so adorable 😍
Kenya is beautiful.
Good job man Love what u do 💪🏼🙏🏼 be blessed Kenya is one of my favorite country am from Rwanda & I love Kenya I like that man who was kind enough to show u around he's country I love he's baby girl she. Speak very nice English keep it up 💪🏼

Hi Gabi. Hello from Maputo the capital city of Mozambique. That is good, showing the both sides. Congratulations for your wonderful vídeos. Keep going. Stay safe and healthy.
I love what you do.....exploring both sides of the coin, poor and rich. Thanks for doing justice to vlogg.
These insights are really helpful!
Looking forward to your next video. Gabi you are truly one of a kind. Your heart is in the right place.
🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
A shopping centre being your favourite area in Nairobi casts some doubts on the overall beauty of the city😬😬anyway great video! Ciao👍
Thank you I'm proud of my country 😊 much love from Qatar 🇶🇦
Keep going Gabi!🤜🏽⚡️🤛🏽
Gabi, you are one of a kind. I love traveling through your eyes and your heart. Your images and comments make me think about what it really means to be rich. Hug from Canada
Thank you 🙏🏻🙏🏻
thankyou for you are the first to go through the two sides of kenya, even though there is the small sector of the poor side, u also looked on the rich side of kenya
OMG...I was there 45 years ago! Of course, it was going to develop but it's crazy I don't recognize anything except for the Kenyatta Center high rise which I believe was the only one in 1979. Thank you so much for the very interesting update tour.
I was born in Kenya, a long time ago. Since then I moved to the US, but miss home still. It is amazing how much has changed and yet how much is still the same.
I joined your channel through your Dubai video, but I happen to be Kenyan......this is a wonderful video.
Good content. I visited Nairobi in 1985 & it was a good city then too. Now it’s even more developed. But the poor will always be with us everywhere
Wonderful thank you Gabi
Great video. Keep going men 👍
You kept it authentic 💯 👌

@@ridewithgabi have a nice time in Kenya 😄🙏
Thanks Take aTrip on Nairobi Express way 🎉🎉
Hi Gabi. It’s Paul + Yen from Singapore (we met you and Ploy) at the Jewel Changi Airport. By coincidence my son lives in Nairobi so we have really enjoyed your series on Kenya! Hope you are ok as we haven’t heard from you for a while.
Show life as it is. Follow your own thematic style. Thanks Gabi.
why don't we hear the same sentiments when it comes to western world? For example in america and canada there is Too much homelessness. What if the world only decided to forcus on that like they do when it comes to Africa? This is 2023 Africa moved on in a Major way
Peter Santenello covers poor Ameeica. Very interesting vlogs.
God bless you Gabi❤I was triggered by your first video but am grateful now you showed both sides of the coin, good work keep up👏👏
I understand that :)
❤❤❤❤brings many friends to Kenya I love your show
I was born in Nairobi. As you know, you've been mistaken for an Indian many times. There's a rich history of Indians in East Africa. Please make a video about their connection and also take the train to Mombasa.
But you’re still Indian. You’re not originally Kenyan. There is no area in kenya in which you come from unless you refer to parklands as your ‘ushago’. Majority of you can’t speak Swahili and you don’t have Kenyan culture, you only practice your Indian culture which is fine. When Kenyans go to their rural homes in December, you’re on your way to India. So yes, you’ll always be Indian unless you marry a Kenyan and give birth.
🎉🎉🎉🎉this was a great 👍 video and very informative
I like when u said that everywhere there’s rich and poor
Thanks for promoting tourism in kenya ,kenya its beautiful !
What a good environment that we have here in kenya
A very nice video as usual. Love from India❤🇮🇳
The maasai canvas shirt looked nice on you
Oh yes, Runda as well.

As a fellow citizen.... I appreciate the video bro
Nice video thank you
Aaw Richard's daughter is such a cutie!
Hello Gabi also you want to look into Parklands in Nairobi.
Love you from 🇰🇪🇰🇪🇰🇪🇰🇪
Your guide missed out on where there's the most development, upperhill and a few other areas, nice video 👍
Upper Hill is mostly offices, isn't it? It's the financial district of Nairobi.
Next time 😉
@@freedommkilimani is slowly becoming a village...it's where middle class live
@@AmazingMania Not slowly. It already is.
Someone asked about historical sites.. I'd love to say we have Vasco da gama area in Mombasa.. And Malindi also has some nice places 😉😉
Great video...loved every part of me. The end made me shed a tear. Seeing how that father is sacrificing to give a better life to his girls. that's real love.. u did good including it in the video. Kenya is great, and it is more enjoyable with friends.
Yes Richard is such a great father 😉
Kenya is the pride of africa ❤ so we must be the frontliners we can't brag about that
You should have taken a tour to Eastleigh, the shopping capital of Kenya, and probably also the most culturally diverse place in Nairobi.
I visited Nairobi in 2023. First I spent several weeks in a poor part of the city. Of course not in the slums but in Roysambu, Kasarani and Kahawa West. Only after that I got to a rich part of Nairobi. It looked, smelled and felt like another country! I never expected such a big difference. People are very friendly but a foreigner should not walk alone. And in some districts of the city only the district residents should walk. I feel you made a good video. And my favorite mall is Sarit.😊
I am your new subscriber gabi❤❤
Last video you chang the boy life.super brother
I think it is very important for myself and the world, to see the slum areas of Africa and all the children; these children, are the world’s future and they must have computers in their schools and the best healthcare, nutrition and education that the world can possibly give them.
Thanks appreciate my motherland
Watching from the capital city of Africa. Our pride
You're very honest person with impartial good concepts .. others come here in Kenya to see and report negativity about us. Thank you for loving Kenya 🇰🇪 We Love you and visit more cities country wide.❤❤
Hi gabi, i am recently watching your channel, its so amazing to see, especially for the India series, i hope that you soon couple volg😂
Thank you 🙏🏻
I'm surprise by the 3 of them on the bike, and it seems to be legal. Plus, they are comfortable riding without a helmet (except the driver) and no police stopped them. 😮 thats amazing 😊
Gabi thaks for showing kenya with no binance
Kilimanj and Westlands are both upper middle class. Lavington, Gigri, Karen, Muthaiga, are among the top high class areas.
Nairobi has really changed I left 50 years ago still have good memories
Well done video not often we've seen these parts of Keyna. Other U-tubers usually shows the villages. Thanks for sharing.
