    • @@something2say89 Yes, I'm aware of the history of sexual assaults and abuse affecting the reactions of those who are on the receiving end of the joke. I've experienced that type of abuse in the past both verbally and physically by male and females and I know a few women who have experienced that as well including witnessing a female co worker going through it. Her reaction to that abuse was what I mentioned about others who "laugh it off" which isn't to downplay how affected they are inside but to point out that despite women being emotional in general, not all women or men are the same. My original comment only pointed out the logical aspect of what I viewed and I didn't see anything "immature" about that or my following comment about the reality of people, regardless of gender, being completely different in behavior and reactions. I've had female family members inappropriately touched and approached numerous times so I'm not condoning that behavior but unfortunately, it happens too often and there's not enough balance on either side to create a better understanding.
