Amazing. I mean, it's kinda fresh to hear a song is not talking about love or suffering... it's about Barbara's cake 😂 I love it.
That CAKE, though!
Once upon a time in a small town, there lived a girl named Barbara. And this Barbara was all over the country. Known for their incredibly good rhubarb pie. Yes, you could say that Barbara's No-Buts Rhubarb Pie was an almost magical experience. Aberakadabera Well, this cake was too bombastic. And its demand is increasing dramatically. Barbara opened that same year. She a bar and she called it "Barbara's Rhubarb Bar." There were also some barbarians in the city. They had heard about Barbara's rhubarb bar. And since they left every day with Barbara, they were soon called the “rhubarb barbarians.” In the following years the barbarians abandoned Little by little they stopped their barbaric behavior. They were, Barbara claimed. Almost nicer than Barpapapa. But the barbarians were very hairy. And they all had a shaggy barbarian beard (nothing special) Barbara then sent hers. Barbarian friends of the barbarian beard barber. She even designed the entire head of the barbarians. In his barbershop with a barbaric beard It is true that he was a terrible conversationalist. But the beard was absolutely perfect afterwards. Then the barbarians invited their barber. Once the work is done, head to the rhubarb bar. Then they had a beer together at the bar. The rhubarb barbarians and the bearded barber And he ate without any barbarism A piece of rhubarb pie, I think there were two. Yes, even the toughest men became approachable. And it's all thanks to Barbara's rhubarb. Three Barbarians and the Bearded Barber Sitting at the bar one afternoon with a beer. Then the police came: "Yes, where were you?" Three barbarians and the bearded barber
Right? 😁
I've studied German for six years and can say with confidence that this song has something to do with cake 🤔

What's fascinating about this is that the word for "barbarian" came about because the Greeks and Romans thought foreigners sounded like "ba ba ba" when they spoke, and the term was usually applied to people from the northern regions of Europe, where they wore longer hair and beards. From that we get words like barber (referring to beards) and even the name Barbra, meaning "wife of the barber" or "foreign woman" depending on who you ask. But here I am, listening to this song in German (a language I do not understand) so it's come full circle for me, sounding like, "ba ba ba" just like it did for the Greeks and Romans.
Its like poetry, it rhymes

She makes friends with some barbarians who then get sent to the barber because they have hairy beards. The barbarians become friends with the barber who then all go to Barbara's bar to drink beer. The barbarians are now friendly and stopped acting barbaric, which is all thanks to Barbara's rhubarb.
