  • Both this song 'Drink It' and 'Sweet' are favorite The Boyz's songs for me & their mvs are masterpieces. I was sad they were not comeback songs but released on Universe platform which stopped operating. So glad they're both up now on Genie!

  • this is my fave kpop vamp concept by any group, hands down, and this is the mv/song that introduced me to TBZ early last yr (since the one on KLAP's account has been up since 12/5/21) would be awesome to see this vid get well over 10M views like it deserves my dying wish would be for them to miraculously release the choreo--the thought that i'll prob die before ever seeing the whole thing depresses me

    • Unfortunately, they cannot perform "Drink It" because it's not under IST Entertainment. Previously, The Boyz had a contract with NCSOFT, the owner of the "Universe" app, which was similar to a "bubble" app but with a unique twist. They created songs like "Drink It" and "Sweet." They also have variety shows there. However, you won't find the app today, as NCSOFT sold it to another third party due to its lack of profitability. The Boyz was not the only artist on the "Universe" app; there were various groups and soloists during that time. It's likely that they moved to the "Bubble" app, similar to The Boyz. (If you don't know bubble app. It's a way to talk to your favorite idols. You buy tickets, and then you can chat with them and watch their live shows.)

    • the history for this song is that it was a universe app exclusive back when universe was a thing. so they couldn’t perform it anywhere and even the mv had to be uploaded separately so all deobis could see it. drink it and sweet were both released this way. when universe went under, there was a lot of confusion about what would happen to the exclusive songs, eventually they were uploaded to youtube under different labels, but bc universe had the rights, it has always been contentious if the boyz could perform these songs even at their own concerts (haknyeon once said that they couldn’t, i believe that was before this video was uploaded which is on genie so idk if anything has changed). it’s been uploaded and deleted a couple of times presumably as ownership rights change around. we can all hope that one day…….we will get to see live performances….or at least dance practices 😭😭😭
