I don’t think it’s as bad as the mk1 betas but I do think I’d like this game more of it was a bit speedier. It looks floaty. I’m biased as I’m more into dbfz/mvc.

It was at EVO, yeah, but if I understood correctly Riot will also deploy a kind of new(?) technology for 2X that should make playing online pretty smooth even long distance

I like the gameplay but the jumps just seem like forever and even when the characters get hit in the air the just up there making the juggle 10x more effective

you havnt even played the game and you're already adding two cents lol, every tag fighter doesnt need to be on dbfz type speed, riot already said they want the game to appeal to EVERYONE including casuals, nobody is casually playing MvC or DBFZ

Game looks cool and all but the matches are looking all similar and I doubt it's because the players don't have much time with the game. It's Nemo and Fox. If anyone can figure out a game fast it's these two. Feels like it lacks options; both in movement and (special) moves. I'm gonna play it because Marvel is my game but it's worrying.

Nope they still havent figured it out just yet, and thats fine. If you want to see how much can be done its better to watch a dev play like Unconkkable, the game director. It seems rhese two only know one bnb which is fine like I said. Neither are utilizing retreating guard or parries or either of their fuses. The amount of things you can do with 2x assist and freestyle are crazy and neither are really using them. Let alone tag launchers. Theyre playing it right now like 2 1v1s, which is fine, theyre just learning. I saw no Illaoi tentacle setups from either of them or any crazy Ahri orb resets. So yes, while you doubt it, its definitely because players dont have much time with the game yet. The official 2XKO account posted some Illaoi combos from beginner to advanced on their shorts, and I saw nothing like that here. Give them more time than a few hours of play time to judge them.
