As a Ferrari and George Russel fan, I can only feel the PAIN in this race... I think Ferrari should use this summer break to find another set of race strategists. It is such a terrible shame to let bad decisions of some people ruin everyone else's hard work too many times. As for George's strategy, even though he lost the opportunity for his first win, I think it was the best at that time considering the Merc's performance.

@@mikasr.5 It isn’t necessarily ‘bad luck’ tho when there’s (almost) always someone from Ferrari to blame, is it? Most of the times it’s the Ferrari team, so yeah, you could call it ‘bad luck’ but still, it’s his team. Last race, it was Leclerc himself. And it wasn’t the first mistake Leclerc made this season. If you want to be WC, you need to be on top of your game and with the amount of mistakes made within the Ferrari team, it’s quite impossible to just call it bad luck.

As a Ferrari and George Russel fan, I can only feel the PAIN in this race... I think Ferrari should use this summer break to find another set of race strategists. As for George's strategy, even though he lost the opportunity for his first win, I think it was the best at that time considering the Merc's performance.

If you want to be WC, you need to be on top of your game and with the amount of mistakes made within the Ferrari team, it’s quite impossible to just call it bad luck.

@@Waywind420 i’d put leclerc in S class, i mean he’s a level above Sainz, an incredible wheel to wheel racer, best qualifier on the grid, and his only problem is younger verstappen-like overaggression.
leclerc's pit deciding to do a hard tyres put him really on an disadvantage, verstappen even spun once but still overtaken leclerc for the second time.

Going from P10 to winning the race when not a single of the top 6 cars have damage or engine issues is absolutely nuts. Granted one of those teams is Ferrari but its still impressive

And on a track where it was said it's hard to overtake (not sure that holds with 2022 rules, still), where RB were supposed to have a disadvantage (low downforce car) and Mercedes being at their best since the start of the season... Yeah this is quite a statement win.
@@MarcelVolker compared to last year, there was a lot more overtaking. Currently 3rd in the tracks with the most overtakes in this season with 65, just behind Austria (69) and Bahrain (76)

i think the hate is misdirected at binnotto, he is not responsible for the strategy, the strategy team is. binnotto is primarily focuse on the technical development and data, and doesnt have much expertise in strategy

Max is a real legend. He spun to level the chances with ferrari strategists.
He even tried to help ferraris to victory with that spin. Even that is not enough for ferrari. Now they also have Merc as rival.
But Ferrari strategists over did it one more time. Geez it's hard to believe sometimes.
When you look at the slomo within the cockpit what he does on his steeringwheel to safe the car is insane.
Even then the strategy was so bad it barely made a difference
