Bad Chad and Doug cut more of the floor out and removed the steering box so we’re thinking the big block engine is gonna fit this time 🫣
#badchad #bigblockford #engine #blowermotor #ford #firewall #tiltfront
Cut out the X member, box the frame and add a transmission cross member that goes from frame to rail to frame rail. Also get a new rear end. Like the build!!! 👍
That is gonna be bad to the bone! Fantastic choice of engine, it's just right for the body. Sometimes we just gotta dive in. Godspeed BadChad and Queen Joline! Also I with all due respect, I think Doug needs a cup of noodles and a cig. Hes out here grinding. 👏
That should make the cab toasty warm with the exhaust manifold and engine block inside the bodies interior.
Split the wishbones (front end) and move each piece out enough to clear the transmission. Then build the frame back to make it strong. Jmho
Thanks for showing us the situation at the end of the day. 😎👍 The solution is getting closer, probably some cuts are still needed
Too far back no feet room for your break or gas too high up looking good I love that car thank you Jolene for filling this you're awesome
Needa Chassis Rethink 😮
That motor MUST go in there. did you look at that thing with the motor in it. whoa baby. she'll be a beast to drive, probably not gonna road race it. can I go first?
I'm happy to see the floor cut so you can see what's up ! No doubt in my mind !😂
Hey Jolene and Chad and team Hiltz! Nibble some more and cut away peelher back ! That engine is a beast ! Thumbs-up Jolene ❤love the spring weather and have a wonderful evening ill be back tomorrow !
Very. Close. To perfection ❤❤❤❤
Keep it up guys ! You will make it happen 👍
He doesn't build cars he builds cartoons.

I feel that there is a little anger here Chad. Don’t let people wind you up like this. You know that you are a car artist with natural talent and a lot of us love you for what you do. If people don’t appreciate that it’s their issue not yours and you don’t need to justify it
The back of the motor has to go down to get your pinion angle right.
Chad said,”what’s a pinion angle? How’s a level work ? I only use masking tape for everything”
@@garythornton4523lame
Can't wait to see where he puts the brake it'll probably be up on the let alone trying to service anything just another one to park in garage I guess
Same here, don't understand why he is going in with engine level on the hoist set-up. Also, he keeps trying to center the engine in a vehicle with a steering gear box. If he wants the Blower to stick out of the hood perfectly center, rip the gear box out and swap a modern front end under it.
@@ltwig476 exactly as you said you dont understand!
Keep on keeping on you'll get there 👍😎
Now it looks like there will be zero room for a seat or the pedals. That trans is HUGE
Thanks for sharing.
Looking good!
Great video thank you.
Need to change your front axle from single pivot at the rear to more of a double point to open your center to get your engine pushed back.
Keep at it Chad you are the man and you will get it 👍👍
Why is he trying to mount the engine so far inside the car? The motor is supposed to be flush with the firewall. He's got it so far in the car that there's no place for the gas pedal. Why is he putting the engine so high and in the car? It doesn't need to go in that deep.😅
The blower belt sticks way out front, he still needs room for a radiator that will cool that engine. So he has to move it way back to get room for a radiator.
Because the "Hot Wheel " that inspire him got the motor that way . Or it looks that way
So there is zero room for steering column and/or gas, brake, clutch pedals?
Think of it as a mid engine vehicle
In a normal car yes but in a car with dif frame u put it where it fits it has a pointy front end and needs room for radiator. Also look at racing engines are always moved back. Also u might b surprised to learn some cars from factory have engines offset a inch or two left n right!
Awesome, Thanks
Nice 👍
One bite at a time, you’ll get there, Cheers.
Split the wishbones and redo ( reinforce ) frame as required; or try a manual transmission.Swaps in these old X frame Fords have been done this way for years. Change out rear end for an 8.8 or p inch ford.
Looks good uou all.
Jolene! The hydraulic ram to that cherry picker ( hoist ) needs rebuilt...it needs new rings and such...Chad knows that if that thing decides to give out, it could happen at any time and hurt somebody!
If not broke he won't fix it.but your right.
'BAD CHAD' brand, widow maker engine hoist.
Low on hydraulic fluid. Very common with jacks that need maintenance. Fill plug on ram unit
your a retired commercial artist and know shit on hydraulics. just shut up
He uses junk to build semi finished things.
Might as well take out the front seats and put a 2 foot drive shaft on it
This Hotwheel build……… is going to GOoooooo virallllllllll………❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥GODBLESSsssssssss
the heck with the hot wheels thing, put a “ regular motor in it” and have a great looking car. those engines sticking out the hood look crap
Look at it this way, you have lots of room for the radiator now
I think it’s time for a new bigger shop. My first priority would be to install a lift. Besides your own ideas I bet the fans would love to add their own ideas too.
Loving this project. Just a fun fact the old hemi that was used in the Willie gassers back in the day weighed 900 lb. If it had iron heads. I tried to pull one out of a Studebaker . My engine puller would not lift it .
Haha yeah, it took two men and a boy just to lift one head.
pull the engine foreward about 8 to 12 inches , drop the engine down till the tailshaft will slide under the floor , then push the engine back to the firewall , guiding and holding the tailshaft untill the engine is the right distance from the firewall , adjust everything level , reframe , and motor mount everything in place ....
cut the x frame back then add two parallel rails with a new crossmember for the trans mount
Bom dia jolene, aqui no Brasil agora são 8.15 minutos um grande abraço pra vcs gosto muito do seu trabalho
Lower the engine with a rear sump
gonna have a foot and a half driveshaft... Look into the transverse bar on the buick gnx... it will keep the frame from twisting with the torque of that motor... simple google search will explain
Almost 😮. Have him tilt it some!?
Use the force Luc, use the force
I currently stuffing a 460 in a 66 ford Galaxie in place of the 390
they should just park this along side the 2 story truck and move on to another project such as finishing jolenes car.
Yes,By doing all these cars and not finishing her car. Well, That’s just NOT RIGHT.
Hey Chad and Jolene I love your work you guys do your a artist Chad just some thoughts on where your placing the engine you need to consider how dangerous that would be having the engine placed that far back for instance if you guys got in a accident the engine would end up on your lap will also effect how the car drives you should place the engine where it's meant to be and build a scope that sits where you want it for the look your just creating yourself alot of headache my friend comes down to are you build it to injoy driving it or are you building it to look at just some friendly advice keep up the good work guys love watching the channel
8 whole minutes. and he’s waiting for a sponsor to pick him up
@@james-ew7kl say how you want.. they are actually 2 successful people, that you cant deny. keep talking
Blimey Jolene you had seen enough for today...
Cutting out the frame and engine under dash, certification or warehouse???
Good vidio joline.
Just keep cutting, You will get it done.
nate know what to do by tomorrow he need to cut more floor nate did mark the down
🇦🇺 👍
Chad you will need to put a level across the carbs they need to be level to work well.
how many degrees is acceptable?
in a chevy its less that 5 degrees. he cant care as physics dint exust in his planetary universe
@@james-ew7kl can you deny their success?
You need to get rid of the cross bone it will work alot better
Why not cut the floor larger than you need, for it is much easier to fix the floor than all that grinding?
Get a rear sump oil pan for that motor, it will solve a lot of your problem and make engine placement much easier.
how do you figure? the oil pan is not the issue.
Need a stronger frame for that unit....
Convert that engine hoist to neumatic and it makes lifting so much easier! Go cordless for new angle grinder.
you realize it's a big block ?you just fully compromised the structure you are bolting this too. hope you are ready to fully rebuild that frame and body .
If chad is deadset on that engine. He should just cut it all out. Get the engine in and rebuild after that
That's what you get for trying to put it in the front seat
If you made trailing arms from the axle to the frame on each side and get the wishbone out of the center you wouldn't be fighting it so much
The reason I say this is because I did a 36 Ford coupe and put a 428 with a c6 automatic transmission and cut all that out of there and where Nathan was cutting the x member out in the center where the wishbone cross member is taking that all out you will find it much easier to put that motor and transmission in
Fishplate the frame to better strength to
Look at speedway cross middle for big motors hole new middle
Great idea but just too much engine for that car . Hello ?
trying on this channel now huh? how is it working out?
Love the idea of this build but by putting the engine so far back it leaves no room for gas and break pedals at all
Throw that lump out and get a turbo charged Offinhauser. It'll fit easy, and put out as much HP.
I think get rid of the X frame and box the frame rails and put in a crown Vic front suspension Nat knows what that is
And cut the mount and cross member for the wishbone out you would have more room
REAL AMATEURS probably will never get done so it doesn't matter
Harbor freight sells air rams for your cherry picker where you don't have to do all that hand cranking. If there's a Harbor freight up in canada. Without the headers on you're not seeing the full picture of how little clearance you don't have.
The wish bone might have to be split.
time to pull the body off get the engine where it needs to be all the reinforcements done and test fit the body back on the frame
Are you driving it Jolene ?? You're the one that can drive racers.
HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
so close. she's a bad one. (exciting build)
You have to do as Nate suggested, cut that v support out and make a new crosmember ! Get the brain working Chaddie !
Nathan will figure it out
Use the lift outside and lower the car down to the engine???
That engine is way behind
Plan B Small block Ford
only plan blown 460 stay tuned
Cut some of protruding firewall by fenders its ugly blocking see engine and access
😎🫡
Ou moteur plus bas avec un scoop fixé au capot
Where is nathanial ?....😢
Trade it for a chevy rear oil sump
Lol... the trans needs to be where the frame is... lol. Get a new frame.
its Monday
Safety has no budget
Yabadabado
I wonder if they just cut it the same dimensions as the transmission . Y think ?
That engine is being mounted to far back and too high good grief. Chad is about to learn a hard lesson. Listen in the comments section for better advice. You will not have room to install gas and brake pedals with the motor sitting in your lap .
Le moteur est pas assez haut
You will have a short drives haft
Why a 2nd channel? Just because ?
why not?

He has the engine too far back and too high . The drive shaft will be too short and too much of an angle.
if u'ed like l"ll buy u 10 more like the last 1 ❤😂😅😂❤
Just cut up and stop tinkering around.
If it fits in a Hot wheel....
This is a drag race car. Placing the engine further back helps with improving traction.
its not a "drag race car"
Do you honestly think Chad listens to any advise, no no, it's Chad's way or no way he is the man 4:35
Oh course he does. He always says it can all be fixed and changed if something dont work. Like he is being stubborn on not just making the hood scoop fit but doing it with the motor. It will work out
"advise" from who" nameless faceless people on the interwebs? do you blame him? who listens to some clown that will not show his real name?
Still a big piece of junk, just missing a lot more metal. Soon you'll be able to pick your teeth with it.........
For all you arm chair mechanics where is your videos of all the cars you built if you are so dam good why don’t you have a KZhead channel to show case your talents. In your case it’s just hot noise
We don't need a youtube channel to make a living, these builds are just for content and Jolenes paycheck. None of Madd Chads builds are worth any kind of real money, most uncompleted the same with this one. Most are for Chads storage. How many uncompleted sit instorage along with the great Bugatti build. The doors a leaning against the wall behind the build of this Fubar 40.
