  • Morgan is an influencer who is actually so relatable, like I love her so much bc I see myself in her in so many ways. It’s good bc too many ppl act like their lives are perfect or you have to do a b & c to be happy, but Morgan is always just honest and funny and makes fun of life bc we’re all 20 somethings just trying to figure it out!!

    • i’m almost 20 and i live w my mom. tbh it’s a blessing. i can work on my degree, work on myself, and work part time knowing she’ll have my back. not having to worry about rent is a blessing for my poor ass. i’d rather help her deep clean this messy apartment 😂😂

  • My mom is not a clean freak. The only way our house was clean growing up was if I cleaned it. That turned me into a neat freak. I don’t want my daughter being scared to have friends over because she’s worried about how her house looks

    • Yesss same! Growing up, my dining room table was only used for displaying every piece of junk mail like it was going to be featured in some weird modern art gallery lol. I still get the rush of anxiety to run around my house now and clean whenever I hear someone is coming over, even though my house is usually fine 😆

    • I feel this! I was raised by my grandma who was disabled and a hoarder so I cooked and cleaned. I would go to friends houses all the time and after seeing their nice houses, get embarrassed because mine looked nothing close to theirs!

  • Most rich people have the cleaning staff refill their pantry bins and containers. I can't tell you how many of those containers I've filled when I was a cleaner in the rich area near me. Usually, there is a main pantry that has all the open boxes waiting to be poured into those containers. Same with the fridge, cleaning staff would throw out leftovers, wipe down shelves, and restock it.

  • Thank you for shining a light on the fact that celebrities pay people thousands of dollars to make their pantries look like that. No one should feel like they're a failure if their much more limited space and finances keep them from having kitchens that look like that. Also, I love that you and your brother are best friends. So sweet. And, I think you did a great job.

    • The little doodad that came with the shelf is called an allen wrench and it's always a sign of blessing. It means you don't have to wrestle with figuring out screwdrivers and crap. Also, hack for when you finish building them and know you will have to eventually take them back apart (for moving): tape them to the back of the unit or bottom of a shelf. And its wire like Morgan's, the next best thing it to have a little pouch or box for them and make sure they are labeled with what they go to, i.e. can organizer or living room book shelf. The label can simply be a piece of clear tape made to be a tag and written with a sharpie. It's a lifesaver when your whole house is full of ikea and all of then have different sizes.

  • Morgan, that palm you have by your stairs is one of the most toxic plants to pets. It doesn’t make them sick, it will kill them if they eat it. Please make sure you put it outside so your fur babies don’t eat it!!!

  • Thank for addressing the container to pretty container storage system issue. You were absolutely right! It’s more time and then as soon as you buy something that doesn’t fit you’ve thrown off the whole look. I place sugar and flour in containers and finally added my pancake mix to keep it sealed. That’s it...but even then I realized with the pancake mix that I needed to create a system of expiration dates.

  • Nice to see I'm not alone in having insanity moments. You spent $200 on attempting to organize. I spent... well, I dunno how much... but basically money I didn't have on SIMS 4 DLCs. All to chase that "serotonin" as you mentioned. Thank you, Morgan, for sharing. Upsetting as it may be, it definitely helps in knowing someone else shares the same struggle every once in awhile.
