Honestly Phly you don’t need an excuse to play tanks you enjoy. Watching you have fun in war thunder, even if it’s tanks you’ve played before, is some of the most entertaining content you could put out

While I agree that the graphics have been amazing lately, as someone who doesn’t have the ability to run fell graphics, I would rather have updates that make the gameplay better.
Chinese X79 and a FB marketplace gtx1070 will get you there buddy. Ive put 3 together for my friends on a tight budget.
RX 580 is enough for full details on 1080p with reserve

bruh i got an RTX 2070 xtreme and i have hiccupps some times. personally Rx 570 or up will run the game near max. just be careful on how much Global Illumination you use.

I know its not very effective, but i really, really enjoy the WW2 heavy bomber carpet bombing tactic. Being on the ground seeing that happen is awesome too. Im surprised people in-game do not go crazy in chat when you do that, Phly.

I've seen the BV-238 used in this role a few weeks ago at endgame. It was brutal.

Fun fact, the reason why America spells things sch as "Armour" and "Colors" the way they do is because, back in the 1800's there was this guy called Noah Webster who really liked to teach people who couldnt read to read. He also really didnt like the English, so de deliberatley mispelled words n stuff, which is why Americans have "Colors" and "Armor"

God I love all the high tier vehicles potential but I often find myself struggling in the lower tiers typically after br 2. But seeing these videos does help me a bit.

This video is amazing, all until you fly low like Phly does in the desert map and a tank fires an HE shell straight into your plane, then it goes downhill from there
So this was the reason why there were a whole bv-238 formation when i play yesterday
I was actually in a game in my leopard 1a1 l44 and this mad lad of a player started gunshiping with a bv238 on fire arch was the sickest game I ever played
The bv 238 was the first plane i ever aced a crew on because in air rb, if you kill a couple planes chasing you, take out a couple bases rearm and take out the airfield in maybe 10-20 minuets and you can just keep doing that all day
I had requested Phly the BV on ground rb so much this is a dream come true

I love BV 238. I had battles with this plane and have very good win/lose ratio.
i have lately played alot of german stuff and i absolutely fell in love with the bmp1 ( 9M113 ATGM the upgraded one) and then try and get to the G.91 R/3 with 4!!!! Nord missles, its so phun to groundstrike in that thing, feels a bit like the old tiny tims ya know the unnerfed ones Attempt #11
Funny thing you say not a lot of people play like this, I do this with the S.81 (BR 1.3 Italian Bomber) and love laying down carpet bombing runs with the 16 100Kg bombs, and then strafing the battlefield until I get a few spots, then right back to base for more bombs.
As veteran BV238 player Who have played this plane for over 5 years i can safely say that this plane is worth the GE.. If played correctly its a decend grinder as well. For those of you Who struggle to play it i can teach you some tips and tricks that Will improve your gameplay by a lot... Step 1 Doesnt matter if you play arcade or RB try to climb to around 5000-5200 meters and try to restrict yourself from diving. Patience is the key. Step 2 Situational awarness is essential while playing this plane, always make sure to look around you for incoming fighters/interceptors, as allied fighter escorts are kinda rare so basically while playing as a bomber you are on your own 98% of the time. Step 3 Always make sure to point your back towards the incoming enemy no matter what, if you see a plane coming towards you, start turning while the enemy is around 4Km away from you so you have enough time to turn your fat ass as this thing is painfully slow. Step 4 avoid allowing enemies attacking you from below as there is pretty much a weak spot for most bombers and there is nothing you can do to stop the enemy Once he gets there, you can try to slowly climb holding around 20 degree angle so in case the enemy goes up rapidly, you got enough time to also go up and point your Guns at him and shoot. Step 5 Abuse its massive size to your advantage. This plane can tank a lot of demage as most of the time the enemy simply keep shooting you wherever they can hit you without really thinking much of it. You can pretty much tank their burst with your fat booty and still get away with it as nothing happened. Step 6 Gun manegment. One of the BV238 weakspots are his Guns, they are pretty much useless if you shoot them at one direction unless the enemy is directly at their crossfire point. While shooting try to draw lines in front of the enemy by moving your mouse left and right, and dont go full auto Just medium bursts. Step 7 Landing. When you dropped your bomb load and heading for the base make sure to turn off the engine power to 0 and Just glide towards the base. You can decend rapidly if you want but it Will take some time to slow down, also if you are on fire from enemy fire Just shut down all engines and hope that this Will put them out, while they are out you can turn on the engines if you need power. While approaching for Landing make sure you are around 260-270 Km/H and dont use engines thrust unless you wont make it by gliding. Try to maintain this speed while slowly decending towards the airfield. At around 240-250 Km/H you can put your gear down or more like water gear or whatever its called for slowing down further. Keep in mind that you dont have wheels so you need to basically slide across the airfield in order to land so this is why its very important to learn about the structural limits this plane has. Most of the time is executed correctly your Landing can be successfull even with 270 Km/H airfield sliding but i wont reccoment going over that number and simply trying to stick to around 240 km/h at maximum at the point of touch. Your maximum touching speed is around 290 Km/H but in most cases this speed or above Will result in crash even if your fuselage is not taken any demage so dont try it. For those of you Who took their time to read my tips and tricks i hope ive been helpfull. See you in the sky!
Wish i could show you a clip of when i was using the flying fortress, flying low through mountains in the ocean and had a head on collision with something like a b17 and we both stopped dead in our tracks and fell straight down. people saw and were also amazing. felt odd stopping so suddenly like hitting a wall. scared the other player to hell :D
Once I saw one of these things, and a hurricane firing at each other There was a giant river of tracers inbetween you could see it from 2km away
