Great video of Engine 13’s 2020 Spartan and Ladder 1’s 2007 ALF ( EX Ladder 5, EX Ladder 1 ) back in action after 15 years of being disbanded since January 5, 2009. And they are still running the original 2007 ALF since 2007.I did not expect that at all but now I do. Thank you for the return of Ladder 1, along with Engine 1, Engine 8, and Engine 39. And I will stay tuned for the return of Ladder 11, and Engine 6 soon enough. I pretty much predict that they will be returning some time this year or next year or the year after that. However, Ladder 1 is back in action in service with Engine 1, Engine 8, and Engine 39, and that’s all that matters as of now as we speak about now. Great work on Engine 13 and the now restored Ladder 1 in this video last year in 2023.
Ladder 11 Returns on the 6th of April 2024

This was not the same run that run came in around 11 pm this was to 27th and Thompson

They have them laying around E13 has one but forgot to Use it but Ladder 1 should have a Garage foor Remote Now from my understanding the whole day was Just crazy with the President and Others then a makeshift crew and stuff
I wish NYC would open some of the +20 companies they closed since the 70s!
Well all i can say is get a good Mayor and a Hopefully they appoint a Good Fire Commissioner and apply to Federal Grants
See if you can close the bay doors for them next time. If I was there I would have let you do it.

Yea but sometimes That happens Ya know Ppl dont call things in quick enough sometimes because wither it's late or something PFD did they best in terma of Response its never easy when theres a Fire especially with high rises but they try they best Sometimes They're just a little Too late in terms of being abke to save the person
@@ckrad Oh absolutely, there was a fire literally 500 ft from E25 a few years ago, they got there in seconds but it was too late. There’s no doubt PFD is top notch. It just sucks that’s first day in service they get a fatal fire.

Great video of Engine 13 responding and return of Ladder 1 responding as well with their 2007 ALF. Ladder 1 also made a spotlight when President Joe Biden visited them. With Ladder 1 using their original rig, is Ladder 5 currently using a spare ladder in the interim until they get their new spartan?
Thats Correct Ladder 5 is in a Spare Apparatus till the Nee Frontline goes in service

Yea, I understand wanting to keep the street clear with the siren pre-response, but for gawd sake, lay on the damn siren while receiving and giving radio transmissions and/or waiting for the last of the manpower to get on the rig. That was just too excessive.
not really the truck inside you can hear the radio clear as day even with the Q screaming besides the more screaming Qs the more Slower Qs in the long run

Where was ladder 1 station
This Station Engine 13 they were out of service for close to 15 years due to budget Cuts back in Jan 2009

Yes, they were trying to shut the bay door they did not have a remote on the rig for the door and E13 forgot to shut thiers so Ladder 1 had to shut the doors Which was caused the delay this was Ladder 1s First night in service so there was gonna be issues which i expected and i even told the Officer dont worry about it its first run in close to 15 years Fir The Ladder So Everyone has to Get used to everything again

Not really makeshift Crew, 1st Night in service, 1st run, no garage remote, etc Things happen, Can be much Worse then the doors gonna take time for The Perfect video and response and have to learn the Local the company was Out of Service for Almost 15 Years And came back because of a Grant that was Rewarded
