Did you see the older sister strut her stuff like a model walking up to meet the photographer? That girl NOW oozes self-confidence. How wonderful that there are two Albino's in the family and the older girl will help her sister navigate life so well and the twin brother just goes along with it all. What a great family unit. Like the older girl said, whatever negative things happened to her, home was where the love was. What a great tribute to the parents.

I loved the dress so much! I’ve often felt like the color yellow looks better on people with darker pigmented skin, making the color more vibrant, and as a result always feeling a bit sad that it didn’t suit my pale skin. But she proved me so wrong. She’s absolutely killing it.

Yes Daisy. The segment was dedicated to the memory of their mom.
Maybe she knew that soon she’ll have to say goodbye to the family due to whatever the reason may be, maybe she was sick or something hence she mentioned that and even got emotional. Or maybe it’s just a coincidence and she meant that because we’re all mortal and we will leave this earth sooner or later. Whatever the reason was I hope she’s resting in peace 🕊 🕯

It was really touching how the oldest daughter wanted one of the twins to look like her and I think it was great for both of them.
From what i know from genetics i believe that one of the mothers and the fathers X cromossome lacks the pigment gene and that causes albinism. Because if you look at their family only the girls have albinism. And albinism is recessive so both of them have to carry the gene for it to express itself
I don't think it's cool. Albinism is a defect (it's like dwarfism, it's a health problem, albin people have skin problems and many of them have eye problems). Albinism isn't racial diversity, albinism isn't geneological diversity. In addiction, they aren't true twins. True twins have the same DNA. That's why in Spain we have 2 words, mellizos (this case, they have different DNA, that's why they can have different sexes) and gemelos (true twins, they have the same DNA, that's why they always have the same sex).

Twins can look different. Just because it’s a multi-pregnancy doesn’t mean the twins will look the same. That doesn’t mean they’ll have the same skin color, eye color, etc. It’s just more common to see twins that look more identical to each other, regardless of if they’re both one gender or different genders at birth.
Yes I have twins in my family one is blonde blue eyed and the other black hair brown eyes... and another pair of women I know are twins and they look nothing alike
They're called fraternal twins and they are more common than identical twins. They're essentially two non-identical children born at the same time. So of course they'll have differences.

I have always thought that people with albinism were GORGEOUS. Their uniqueness shouldn't be seen as a negative thing by them or by anyone else, and I'm glad they've embraced it

The "normal" twin has a struggle as well. It seems a little silly to many to point it out but one twin getting more attention and care does do something to a sibling. Not as severe as a disability but still ok to acknowledge it.

I have never understood why people are so freaked out by albinism. They are so beautiful!! Your children are beautiful!! That is not a flippant sentence to be kind. They really are- the oldest has such beautiful skin, they are just gorgeous. And there is a lot of love to help them for those who don't appreciate there uniqueness:(

Yes, Harry and other "unpretty" people will have their frustrations. But I've known and worked with people who look different, learn differently, etc. They also have happiness. Even if not, their souls are equally as valuable as anyone's.
The families in this were amazing. I loved every story. It's sad that one of the moms has passed but I hope all the remaining family members are doing well.
My nephews are perfectly healthy twin brothers. I can’t imagine having to read such horrendous comments and face such discrimination when it co Ed to Harry. Oliver is an amazing twin brother. The Mum is right. Siblings are the unsung heroes. Also, these siblings grow up to be such empathetic and compassionate human beings. Harry is a precious gift from God or whatever one believes in. "A little less judgment" ma'am I need this Tshirt ❤ So much love to Oliver * it is true that these young caretakers should be praised. Coming from an autistic disabled woman these hero narratives need to go completely, it does- us the disabled inspiration and you the reciprocal abled savior- no service in the end. There is no need for that kind of pressure within family. Harry is truly so sweet and expresses so much love for Oliver it's my favorite bits. That they stick together and advocate too is refreshing. Oliver will hopefully have the love and support of his family despite the hero tropes being thrown around moving forward into his life. Harry has obvious needs for accommodations, as they both grow its gonna be imperative for the rest of the family to help provide those supports. Well wishes and hope that more families will also go forth with a little less judgment.

I saw a story on Oliver and Harry years ago on SBSK (Special Books by Special Kids). Oliver was just as sweet and loving to Harry back then like he is now. Wow they've grown!

I am a fraternal twin! Our names are Cassie & Kayla! We were born almost 10 weeks early. All together weighing 4 pounds & 11 ounces. I almost lost her at birth. But I am so thankful I didnt. We are 33 now! I am 4'11 & she is 5'0. Kayla is a minute older & has an hour glass shape. I have a 'stick' shape as I like to call it. Were totally different except for when it comes to music & movies.
Wondeful stories all around! By having someone your own age who is fierce in their love for you and protects you makes all these kids have an easier life and turns the non-different sibling into a champion for non-bullying, acceptance and empathy for others; it's a win/win for both and also makes the parenting go much smoother.
15:00 I've known and worked with families where one family member has a developmental disability, and sometimes a physical disability as well. As much as it can cause conflict for the other siblings, it also encourages compassion in them. We like to hope that most kids don't have to deal with adversity so early in life. But if they're in a generally emotionally healthy family, they develop really important emotional intelligence.

No one needs to be bullied. I used to have a couple of kids that came through my cashier line at Walmart & I thought they were beautiful. I remember ones name is Steven. Would love to know how they r doing. The pictures are beautiful. Handsome son & beautiful girls. Loved the yellow dress & the ponytail. The other girl twins look just alike & r beautiful. The fiends they have simply love them. The short one has such a positive attitude.
