Whatever types of birds are around, that's how it works with me. Now I have a pair of dark gray doves near me, perching on the tip of the roof next to my back balcony. What most of is ravens, wherever there's plenty of them, like here, or all the time while I was in London. So many at the same time in nearby twin entwined trees near me, that in itself was trying to tell me something, and perched on all nearby buildings too. Even on red double decker buses, because of some movie title. It most definitely takes some time to get used to it.
