TUNA FRENZY In the MOST REMOTE Spot I've ever Been! {Catch Clean Cook} Maug, CNMI

2020 ж. 13 Шіл.

The journey from Pagan to Maug was one of the most exciting trips of my life! Having the right gear made all the difference!!!
Our Base Camp was made up of Quick Set Shelters, Super fast and easy to put up, kept all the bugs out and withstood countless pounding thunderstorms! quicksetshelters.com
Having a great knife is an essential for me! In this video, I cleaned the tuna using my Silver Stag "Woods & Water" silverstag.com/Deer_Meat_For_...
Most of the lures we were pulling were from Andy Moyes. lmrtackle.com/andy-moyes-skir...
Our Main trolling set up was a Shimano Tac50II with a 50# Talus Rod. Worked extremely well!

  • Was Stationed in Guam for 2 years when in the Navy. Your on my short list of people I really want to meet someday and if we can fish even better. Will probably be a long time now as I am still in the recovery stages of Cancer and my wife is now going to have surgery next week for Kidney Cancer. With God's blessings and guidance we will get through this and will get to come your way some day to meet you and family. God is Good All the Time and that is one of the things that has always sold me on you is your faith and willingness to show it on these videos. GOD BLESS YOU and your Family.

  • Hey Rob! I'm 12 years old and your channel really has inspired me to catch clean and cook fish for my family and me. Every summer I go to Lake Winnipesaukee in New Hampshire, where there are tons of fish like blue gill, sunnys, pumpkin seeds, bass (rock, smallmouth, and largemouth), and tons more to clean and cook (legally of course). But due to the unfortunate pandemic, I haven't been able to do it this year, and last year when I first truly discovered your channel, it was a HORRIBLE catching season in a week I was up there a caught a baby bluegill thats it. Next year if the pandemic is over, I hope for great fishing and a fun time. I really just want to thank you for inspiring me, a 12 year old who was never really interested in this, to want to start cleaning and cooking fish. I thank you so much for inspiring me and so many others to go out and have fun fishing. Once again thank you so so so SO much for your channel and you and family having so much fun, because, without you, I would never even think to try this. OH also i'd love to see a video of you killing, cleaning, and cooking a fish using the ikejime method, its thought to be the most humane way to kill a fish other than making it suffocate and freeze to death with can be very painful to the fish and makes them rot faster. Some pluses to the ikejime method is that the fish rots so much slower, it tastes more creamy in a way, and it tastes more fresh then the standard way. Heres a link to a video explaining it: kzhead.info/sun/h7dtcbFxpIKOYHA/bejne.html skip to: 2:02 in the video to see the explanation of how to do it.

    • @@deermeatfordinner I know, I love certain spicy foods, it's just that my body doesn't agree with how delicious my mind thinks they are. Like habanero's and Scotch Bonnet peppers, they have an amazing taste but they're pretty much the upper limit for that balance of the food still being enjoyable while delivering a lot of heat, Thai chilies are great as well.. Ghost peppers and hotter are really just pain, they nuke my taste buds immediately so there's really no point in eating anything that hot. Some people will claim that ghost peppers and reapers have a nice taste but I refuse to believe that they can actually taste anything, probably nothing more than chest puffing and bravado.

  • Mr Arrington you guys are awesome! Thank you for sharing a truly wonderous adventure to one of the most remote islands in the Marianas. Suprisingly not many if us locals dare to go that far due to safety and precautionary reasons. And also to Governor Torres and the rest of the crews that made it happen. God bless you all and it gives me new passion and love for our islands.

  • I love when your videos are essentially television episodes from a major network. I’ve always told people that if you have internet, you don’t need to buy cable or satellite. You can watch everything you want from tv on the internet. Love tuning in to you guys. Keep showing us different places throughout the world and stay safe. Thank you, for such great content.

  • I just found your channel and I am in awe! I am an Air Force veteran that was stationed in Honolulu, Hi for 5 years. I miss the ocean so much, and this video just takes me away. I watch your channel to escape to somewhere I wish I could be. My family and I were not able to take a vacation to the water this year, but I am living through you and your family!
