✳What is your favourite story from the Quran? ✳ *Surah Al Qasas - The Story* A Meccan sura which centres on the story of Moses and takes its title from the reference to the story told by Moses in verse 25. Its main theme is the bad end that comes to those who are arrogant and spread corruption, like Pharaoh and Qarun--polytheism is denounced at various points throughout the sura--and a link is made between these and the disbelievers of Mecca. The Prophet is reminded that he cannot make everyone believe (verse 56) and should remain steadfast (verse 87).

My favourite surah as well as story of the Qur'an is whole Surah Yusuf I would suggest everyone to atleast listen and understand the meaning of surah yusuf, it will teach you many practical things in just one Surah

When my Dad died I became devastated, I felt alone, then Allah made me come across Omar Hisham's recitation of Surat Taha on KZhead. Subhanallah! It's the exact message that I need to hear to comfort me, for it's in the Surah that Allah says : 20:46 قال لاتخافا انني معكما اسمع وارى Transliteration : Qala la takhafa innanee maAAakuma asmaAAu waara Literal He said: "Do not fear, I am with you, I hear/listen, and I see/understand." 😢😭 Every time I hear that phrase I get goosebumps, and I get comfort. Till this day Surat Taha is my favourite Surah and favourite Surah among Hisham recitations. And it's Surah I always come back for any time when I feel sad or depressed to remind me that Allah is Always there/watching and loving. Alhamdallah for everything. RIP Baba, I pray that I get to exit this world with Iman, so that I can see you again my love 😢

Omar Hesham May Allah reward you Because of your beautiful Qur'an recitation, it put my music listening habit to sham. Like I can no longer listen to music when your recitation of Surat Taha, Yusuf, Maryam, Ar-rahman, An-Najm, Al-Ahzab are in existance. These are my favorites from your recitations, and as a result they are my favourite Surahs from Qur'an. My overall favourite is Surat Taha, I love the story of struggle and perseverance of Prophet Musa there and how he overcame them, and how Allah tremendously blessed him and his people at the end, giving me hope that Allah will equally bless us after our trials sooner or later. Apart from the stories of Prophet Musa and Pharoah there, the Surah is exceptionally beautiful in rhythm and melody. Alhamdallah 😢 Dear brothers and sisters if you read this far, please tell me your favourite Surahs in Qur'an, then tell me your favourite Surahs among the recitation of Omar Hisham, lastly tell me which Surah is your number one overall favourite in the whole Quran?

And He found you lost and guided you, and He found you poor and made you self sufficient, therefore... treat not the orphan with harshness nor repulse the petitioner unheard, but as for the favours of your Lord?? .......
