You're being way more generous than all of the landlords we had when we were having to rent. All we had was a bathroom with a shower/bathtub combo, toilet and a sink and the kitchen had the cabinets, stove, pantry and fridge. We got very lucky to even have a fridge, because some places don't come with one due to prior tenants stealing them. Anything beyond that we had to bring with us and move it in. In some places we didn't even get a little porch. My very first apartment felt like it was just a converted hotel room with a kitchen.

Same I’ve never rented a trailer in a trailer park but every single apartment I’ve ever rented, the landlord doesn’t furnish it at all. Besides the fridge and stove, if it’s not built in (counters, cabinets, etc) then you’re bringing it yourself.

Oh my gosh. You nailed it. That is how the BFFs should be living. In the US, we have mobile homes that are on wheels, doublewides, and triplewides, which are "static" but delivered on a truck. We also have prefab homes, which are delivered in sections and assembled on the lots. These usually have basements, while the others don't, and they can be pretty big.

We call them caravan and trailer parks in the US as well. They can also mean different things (trailer parks typically have stationary builders while caravans are usually on wheels.) They can also have these designs too with the front door and side door as well.

@@ninadreams127 My understanding is a Caravan is similar to an RV only you can't drive it. It's typically towed behind a truck or van for a large one, car for a smaller one.

Oh, I forgot to mention, I did a base game apartment way back when. The one good thing about S4 is that you can always set the relationship status of the house members, So I had a grandmother, mother, and son living in two apartments with the doors set and the rest were just random sims. Yes, I'm restricted to 8 sims and they share money, but whatever. I will happily deal till EA fixes all the bugs breaking the game.

That original house is pretty common for college students! You sub-lease/rent a room in a house. I once lived in a 3 story (very old) house, and there were 7 of us living in that house, all leasing individual rooms from the landlady...it was hell.

Whoa! When did gnomes start moving around in Sims 4? I know they do in Sims 3, but in 4 I understood they were stationary unless it was a special kind of holiday.

LOL, I was thinking they looked too wide. Now, all the trailers I have seen (and I'm not an expert this is just my personal observation) the second door was on the other side of the building/caravan. And wow, that is a lot of furniture that is offered by the landlord. In all the apartments I've rented, we had stove and fridge and sink few (sometimes very few) counters and cabinets in the kitchen then in the bathroom the sink toilet and shower. That's usually it, sometimes you have to have your own fridge, but that seriously all we get. Hahaha, I'm like your date, I can't be bothered to get extra furniture. I literally spend all my time on my computer so as long as I have my personal needs, I don't worry about the rest and have ONE "living" chair, four office chairs, and that's all in the way of seating, no dining table and chairs, though I used to have a folding table to use as needed but my sister borrowed it and returned it torn up and I couldn't be bothered to replace it.

Have you ever been to see a trailer in the USA? There not all the same and are quite nice. You can get them made the way you want these days. They have come a long way. My first real home was a small trailer when I was young starting out with my new family and it was nice just a little small for 3 of us and 3 pets. These days they are even nicer looking. So it all depends on what year it was built and how well it was taken care of the same as a house.

Satch I literally just built a shitty little trailer park yesterday! But without for rent it really isn’t working unfortunately. I try to lock one door for one of the families, and all of the doors lock. It’s very triggering.

I like your concept on this, but I think the place for the geek guy is off. It's doubtful he'd have a work out bench since his priority for using space would be around his greater love of computers and his space is limited. It would be fairly empty (utilitarian) except for a larger dedicated space most likely in the main living area which would have a larger desk and decent pc system. Shelves with gaming/programming stuff on them. Posters or certificates on the wall (depending on brainy or gamer theme). Yes he's broke and living in a trailer but that's when you can really show the character since he would have to make do with crap (or minimal things for utility only) in most things in order to have a nice pc setup.

Does anyones Sims 4 crashes right after they load up their game? I think my save files are corrupted. I keep crashing right after loading up. I've removed my mods, repaired the game and re-install everything and its still happening! I don't have any backups. 🤧😭😭

Satch, stop making yourself use only base game + one dlc! don’t limit your imagination! you make really great buildings and make it very realistic simple and charming! i think everyone has at least half of EP and most popular GP.. not using kits and SP is okay but not using basic packs like seasons or city living or country living… stop carrying and be like Paris and talk loudly - stop being poor 😭
