The fact that the intro theme of Stranger Things FIRST won me and THEN the series, says it all. Excellent work.
Stranger Things introduced me to both an amazing show and amazing group of musical artists.
(((♥)))

SO YOU THINK YOU KNOW EXPERIMENTAL
You're a good person.
Helpful, Thanks!
Thank you for being the great person you are
These guys are fucking incredible. So glad they exist.
Funny how this stuff gets called "experimental" today, when it brings to mind for me all those classic early 80's synth soundtracks by Wendy Carlos, Vangelis, and John Carpenter. This stuff isn't experimental, it's just that no one plays electronic music like this anymore.
Well, actually, a lot of people do...it's called Synthwave ;)
Prince Aligorna As a dude born in 79, I couldn't agree more 😀👍
Like Verres said, just go on bandcamp and look for the tag Synthwave, you'll find literally hundreds of acts doing music with this style.
not really. synthwave follows a particular song structure. whereas survive is slightly more along the vein of Klaus Schulze/tangerine dream meets John Carpenter. they do not use a typical arp bass line with famous drum machines such as the Linn and Dmx.
thats really well said and is perfect
These guys are amazing! I bought my first synth this year. I have been a guitarist for years, but I had developed a growing interest with keyboards. Then I saw Stranger Things on Netflix. lol These guys are just what I needed! Love their music!
Listen to Synthwave music, also artists like Kraftwerk and Jean Michel Jarre.
what synth did you get?
@@SnivesSkateRats inquiring minds want to know lol im thinking about getting one and i love stranger things. Also another great synth artist: Howard Jones
Just ordered this on vinyl.
5 seconds in and I'm in love with the music. I'm glad I discovered these guys
Me too.
Between finding out about these guys and Le Matos my love for synths has grown incredibly deeper.
So good. This group takes me back to my childhood in the '80s, even though this is from the 'teens. Lol
soundtrack from Van Damme 80's movies
Listening to this at 3am. Good find. Amazing textures.
Great time of the year for this music! Solid release date
Fell in love with the band and the album and then found out that they made soundtrack for Stranger Things.
These guys were entrancing at the Pitchfork Music Fest this past weekend! Thanks for sharing it here.
Good stuff anyone likes this really needs to go get all of tangerine dreams stuff especially the 1974 to 84 recordings.
Absolutely. Particularly the album Exit from '81.
Adore it! This is so great!
Easily in my Top 5 of 2016 ! .. playing regularly in my headphones at night ..very cool stuff !

This album is so incredible
Just bought their LP after listening here. Great to have on while working.
Is it weird that I’m obsessed with this kinda music & cyberpunk & neon shit??

No, it’s definitely not weird.
Love this!
THIS IS PERFECT OMG
Just picked up the first pressing on easter yellow vinyl for framing and a repress from Relapse for listening.

That vintage goodness out them machines
Awesome. \m/
Proper album, guys! Some harmonies and lead synths sections reminds me of Unreal OST by Alexander Brandon)
That and deus ex soundtrack
Very good music. However sounds a lot like 80s Tangerine Dream, particularly their soundtracks. And yes, like some Carpenter also.
just bought the CD :D
When i saw stranger thinks i ask to my self who made this kind of music. So i found you. Sound amazing.
😎
Warner Bros should've hired these guys to do the soundtrack for Blade Runner 2049. I'm getting some serious Vangelis vibes from this album.
Johann Johannsson said to make a rework of the Vangelis soundtrack from the original film, so it'll be his own touch but the original score will be respected.
Bas J. Yeah I just saw the recent trailer and the soundtrack sounds pretty kick ass. So overall I'm happy with Warners decision these guys would've been great too though
And then it ends up being that Johannsson is not doing the music, and the soundtrack goes to shit (sorry, I like Hans Zimmer, who in turn like Vangelis, and was inspired by Carpenter's Assault on Precinct 13). But the music should have been more of this 80s style.
Yeah we ended up getting a 'not bad' one by Zimmer. Left me wishing for more tracks like that part of "Mesa"
Love listening. Thought at first it was Yaz.
Hotline miami and stranger things introduced me to this type of music and I love it!!
😎
My music taste brought me here.
♥
I heard this in someone's dashcam video and loved it.
Com truise brought me here 😂 *cough* good *cough* mu s i c
A música q inicia em 13:19 é top hein!?

Mr Incognito Gaming wonder how disappointed your parents are in you.
Wow! this is f*ckin JAZZ. you have a new fan.
A deeper, darker version of daft punk meets deadmau5, very well done.
The end of season II of the series of course listen to the concert POLAND Tangerine Dream
finally belong somewhere
very good, and no need for crazy synth sounds to make good music
Look at Relapse muscling in on NRW's turf.

STRANGER THINGS!
STRANGER THINGS
Thanks Jujuba Atomica
Genre: Ambient Music, Style: Synthwave/ Atmospheric/ Dark Ambient mix
Sounds like the end of the world is about to happen in a beautiful way
Brendon Urie's recent Q&A sent me here...
Anyone knows the meaning behind the name of their albuns?
So beautiful. 33:27
iFuxwitdis🔥
You know these cats are getting crazy paid to do ST's OST.
shouts out to working in a record shop and getting their poster/sticker for free. i'm a nerd and i hung everything up in my bedroom. and tbh i tried really fuckin hard to open for them at their show in Buffalo next week. alas - they've got a touring band with them that will be opening the show. bought my ticket but i'll also keep dreaming that i can share a stage with these freaks in the future
A free sticker from my local record shop brought me here. Also, Stranger Things.
That’s really awesome!😎
This songs make me Fell inside the world of stranger things *-*
Cutthroat is my fav
SYNTHWAVE DAGLI ANNI 80....
Like Tangerine Dream from good times
TD are awesome. Check out this old 60's electronic psychedelic band called Silver Apples too!
Check out Analogous Doom.
I thought the score of stranger things felt out of place even though I liked the music way more than the show. This bands songs worked great in the movie 'the guest' if anyone is really into 80s atmosphere in modern movies, check out the movie 'Beyond The Black Rainbow' It's kind of a love it or hate it cult movie, but very well done and might leave you feeling changed, even if you don't understand it. It's kind of like if a movie could take acid
