  • I am so happy to see you actually playing this game. I am a purist and I know that but this game is about struggle and strife, reinventing how you play cuz there is no right way, occasionally there is a wrong way like Rennala being nigh immune to magic or certain bosses being immune to bleed but you learning the curves and adapting is ALL this game is about. Yes leveling is important but being handed those runes you may delete bars but you wont triumph. even if you farm those runes yourself, by doing it you are engraving those mechanics you struggle with in these videos into your brain. Please continue this journey, Im subbing right now because peoples intro into the souls franchise is quite literally my favorite thing to experience second handedly. And much love to your friends for looking out, but keep preserving this experience and dont let their eagerness to help spoil your impression of this journey. (besides... they dont play like vets themselves yk.) When ever I introduce a friend into SoulsBorne games I make a new character so that progression is there. takes longer because i summon them so I can progress too and keep pace but sometimes i play ahead or speed run catch up.

    • I was playing baldurs gate3 and my boy joined me and was running through triggering cutscenes and battles. I like to take my time with games like that, shits the worst so for a souls game I can only imagine, Tony was doing no damage but it’s only up from here hopefully😂
