Can I bake this in microwave?
How many cups of flour is it? Looks so yummy!
Can I use brown chocolate?
Oh dear... I cringed as I watched you clean that knife. Are you trying to cut yourself? Always hold the knife with the blunt side facing your hand. Geesh!
200 g dark chocolate 115 g butter 225 g granulated sugar 100 g brown sugar 3 eggs 1 pinch of salt 1 tbs vanilla extract 68 g flour 25 g cocoa powder 180°C - 30 minutes
Thank you for giving the measurements in grams.
Thank you
Thanks. Can i use a mixer instead of whisk?
Thank you so much
Thanks!
If you don't have parchment paper, you can simply butter the pan and then add a tablespoon or two of flour. Shake it all around so that the bottom and sides are covered, and proceed with the recipe. It's what we did when I was a child and nothing ever sticks to the pan!
You are correct.
to be honest, this method didn't work for this fudgy brownie.. i've tried and it was really sticky

This is my second time baking this and my family loved it! I followed the recipe with no adjustments the first time and they told me it was too sweet but it was still delicious. On my second bake, I only used 1/2 white sugar, 1/2 brown sugar and only 100 grams of butter and then i added 1/4 teaspoon of coffee and it tasted much better than the first one 😊😊 thank you for the recipe!
I'll try your version today, I did think 1 1/2 cups sugar was pretty sweet
Yes tried it today but it was too sweet.
@@redeyegamers3298 I reduced 1/2 cup of sugar from the recipe and it was just right, if you want to try it again..
If we try without cooking chocolate and use oil instead of butter, would it give the same results?

I've tried Baking this , in short, its like biting into heaven. It was super tasty and scrumptious! Very easy to make too! Thanks for the amazing recipe 😋
Unsolicited advice from someone who has tried this amazing recipe a lot during the covid lockdown: - Baking it for 30 minutes isn't enough (it's probably my oven but I've seen many similar comments). I found that a 45 minute baking time was just right. Don't forget to TURN YOUR OVEN FAN OFF. - Determine the potency of your vanilla extract. Other brands are stronger so 1tsp of it (as suggested in the recipe) gives off a weird banana flavor. If your vanilla extract is strong, cut down the measurement to just 1/2 tsp. - Adding 1/4 tsp of coffee granules/espresso powder really brings out the flavors :) - Don't overmix the batter. Simple folding using a spatula works amazingly. Disclaimer: Again this is all subject to the different brands of ingredients you use. But either way, this recipe is the BOMB!
Thank you for saying that 30 minutes isnt enough!!!😭 I'm currently baking one and i was questioning why my brownies is still so liquidy even after 30 minutes and I thought measured something wrong😭 once again thank you soo muchhhhhh for the tip😭💕💖
Thanks so much, I'm a beginner and these details help me get things right. Else, I feel disappointed everytime it doesn't get right
Why would we turn off the fan
Why do you need to turn off the fan? I have a fan oven... please help!
Do you bake with both top and bottom heat on?
Hi, everyone :) I made these brownies today. They were super delicious, rich, and the perfect texture! Some tips I would give: The best kind of cocoa powder is dutch processed. You can find it in most supermarkets, but it basically just will give the brownies a better flavour and taste. Normal cocoa powder is still okay, though. Make sure you do not mix the batter too much. Using a spatula, just fold the batter so that the mixture is nice and fluffy and not overmixed. I found 30 minutes to be slightly too long, so next time I would put it on for 25. This of course will vary from oven to oven and my oven is fairly new. I used dark brown sugar, which I personally think made it taste better. Finally, I would recommend using good quality vanilla essence/extract. You can really taste the difference. That's it from me, good luck!
Can I use dark chocolate?
@@gabrielvillamor4439 The best type of chocolate is semi-sweet dark chocolate.
Are the brownies too sweet or the amount of sugar used is good?
@@oo-sb4ps If you aren't a big fan of sweetness, you can use slightly less sugar- but personally, it was perfect! :)

This has been my go-to recipe for 3 years now! I get so many compliments on my brownies ❤
Did you use salted or unsalted butter?
Pro tip: A cooked through brownie wont jiggle in the middle when gently shaken in the pan, and the edges will have started to kinda come away from the pan and be visibly cooked. The toothpick should come out with chocolate stuck to it that is an almost taffy-like consistency and not runny. Be careful not to overcook or the brownies will dry out to a dry cake-like consistency. You can use a toothpick to check of it's the consistency you want. The drier the brownie, the cleaner the toothpick will come out. Happy baking 💖
was it okay if i lower the temperature to 120°c rather 180°c? I'm afraid the brownies will be burn. :(
This really helped! Thanks.

Bill Nye hi just a quick question since you have already tried this recipe - I only have 1 (50gm) bar of regular dark chocolate so I was thinking if I could mix it with chocolate chips to make it 200gm(the measurement mentioned for dark chocolate) and then cut down white sugar to 1/2 cup so that it wont be too sweet coz I’ll be adding chocolate chips which are sweet I suppose.
