I'll have to check it out. I've always wanted to get a couple Huskies. But living alone and long hours at work, wouldn't be fair to leave them alone for 10 to 14 hours a day.
andy badandy that’s one of the kindest and best comments I’ve read in a while. You’re absolutely correct! Huskies are also very high maintenance dogs and so many of them end up in high kill shelters because unfortunately not many people do research before committing. We’re big rescue advocates for that reason 😀
Any dog is a lot of work and commitment, some more than others. That's why I have cats. Yes they want love and attention, but can stand being alone longer than any dog can. And I'm not going to subject a dog to long hours left alone. Even with a fenced in yard and a doggie door, they still need walks and everything else that comes with owning a dog. It just wouldn't be fair any dog when I come home tired and don't have the energy to give them what they need.

I have a solar array in my back yard, and when it snows my Husky will spend hours waiting to pounds on blobs of snow sliding off the panels. It's pretty hilarious. She absolutely LOVES snow. But, contrary to myth, a 100 degree summer day doesn't bother her more than any other dog. They shed their undercoat in the summer. (It does get pretty hot and muggy in the summer on the Chukchi Peninsula sometimes.)

+Juan Tello They would be fine, just get one from a breeder in texas so they would be adjusted to the climate, have them out really early in the morning or late at night, you do know their coats actually keep them warm AND cool. i have 3 back home in kuwait where it reaches 130 degrees.
+Juan Tello Please don't get dogs from breeders and instead adopt. There are many huskies in shelters waiting for a home and they are on death row.
+Bader65615083 we would NEVER suggest to BUY any dogs. Rescue huskies from shelters because they are on death row (because of breeders)

Probably never will be such a interesting and fantastic dog like husky! Other species are popular representatives, but the Huskies it's different, it's much better! We love the whole breed entirely)), this has not been, and probably never will.

This is a feel good video because of the music, scenery and the happiness and beauty of the Huskies. I always watch it when I need a boost. Great job on the video, I have not seen another dog video that I enjoy as much, but I still keep looking. I think even the creator of this one will have a hard time doing a better job.

Say if you have a husky but you live in Southern California where it never basically never snows or rains and it’s usually pretty warm and you have a husky from being a puppy there’s no problem with bringing them to let’s say Yosemite or big bear during the winter?
