  • I did a "stop, drop & roll"🤣 to tell you I 💕 your channel already and I'm barely into the first vid I came across. That "... says tarnish resistant, that is a lieee ..." line GOT ME!!! I LAUGHED M.A.O. I LOVED IT!!! It was an VERY important point, (ESPECIALLY for a newbie like me) delivered so down to Earth, matter of fact-ly, it is what it is - ish, moving right along...WONDERFUL! 😊 👍🏼 Now, I'm going back to finish what I found you for. (Fifteen...minutes... later ... You know the voice.🤣) Thank you so MUCH. YOU'RE TRULY an artist and a great teacher. ( Yaaas, "liked and subscribed"... OF COURSE.) I'm JUST starting out and you covered PRECISELY what I wanted to know before making my first piece, namely, WHAT to do with the wire ends (before I find decent crimps) so people don't get scratched ( and I don't get sued, beat up or both. NOBODY wants to end up on KZhead like THAT...and you know it would).😮 In addition, your artistic suggestions were PERFECT. The heart on the Rose Quartz, motif genius. BEST OF SUCCESS WITH YOUR JEWELRY BUSINESS!!!👍🏼🙏🏼🕉️ Thanks SO much again. 🌈💖🦄

  • Ok I have to say, this was extremely helpful. My girlfriend makes jewelry and we just dug up a lot of quartz in southern Arkansas. Our anniversary is coming up and I wanted to wrap up a bunch of the stones for her and this was absolutely the perfect video. Thanks for sharing this. 😁😁

Quite a challenge for me, I'll say, but I'm going to do it. Will you share what gauge wire you used? Looking forward to more of your videos. And thank you

  • I love these techniques and designs, would also work great for sea glass pieces. I like the way you make your bail and twist that to tighten things up. I think I prefer that to twisting the wires into ‘lightning bolts’ because I sometimes ruin the wire doing that. Thanks for the tips and tutorials.

  • nice video, thank you. Tarnish resistant is not tarnish proof. The coated wire just resists tarnish longer than when it has not been coated. Also, if you nick the coating when working with the wire, the nicked area will tarnish even quicker than the rest of the wire.

    @rosanalbandian2572@rosanalbandian25722 жыл бұрын

    @christinecochran6243@christinecochran62432 жыл бұрын
    • Hello, This can be found in a comment I made on this video but I am using 20 gauge dead soft wire. I wouldn’t suggest using anything thinner than 22 gauge unless it’s for earrings. But heavier pendants need stronger wire! 20-18 is ideal for this 😊

  • Do you have another video of how to do the nail closer up?

    @klh_beauty3180@klh_beauty3180 Жыл бұрын
    • I actually can’t due to the wire being so long and close to the table. The bail part I truly can’t make any easier :/ it’s simply explained at 55 seconds in. Create a loop/circle with round nose pliers, wrap one wire around another and twist until desired length of bail. That’s all there is to it!

    @BubbleBunnyy@BubbleBunnyy11 ай бұрын
    • That’s one of the hard parts of this is figuring out what to do with your fingers/building strength. I remember being very frustrated with holding my cabochon/stone, keeping the wires straight and stopping it from slipping all at once is a lot. Just keep trying and trying I promise it gets easier!

  • I do appreciate this video and your time. However half the stone was out of frame at times, and also your fingers (which is understandable) I love the designs, but as a beginner with dyslexia, not seeing the whole stone and wires in the frame was a bit sad. Thank You though, it was still very helpful.

    @kristinree2284@kristinree2284 Жыл бұрын
    • Thank you for your feedback. However due to the camera being so close to my hands/table, the wire being long and catching on the table, it would have been physically impossible for me to keep the stones in frame the entire video! If I did not adjust the wires I wouldn’t have been able to demonstrate anything at all I did ensure each important step was demonstrated as clearly in frame as possible while also being described vocally(videos can also be rewinded) and any adjustments made off frame were intermissions between important info
