I did a "stop, drop & roll"🤣 to tell you I 💕 your channel already and I'm barely into the first vid I came across. That "... says tarnish resistant, that is a lieee ..." line GOT ME!!! I LAUGHED M.A.O. I LOVED IT!!! It was an VERY important point, (ESPECIALLY for a newbie like me) delivered so down to Earth, matter of fact-ly, it is what it is - ish, moving right along...WONDERFUL! 😊 👍🏼 Now, I'm going back to finish what I found you for. (Fifteen...minutes... later ... You know the voice.🤣) Thank you so MUCH. YOU'RE TRULY an artist and a great teacher. ( Yaaas, "liked and subscribed"... OF COURSE.) I'm JUST starting out and you covered PRECISELY what I wanted to know before making my first piece, namely, WHAT to do with the wire ends (before I find decent crimps) so people don't get scratched ( and I don't get sued, beat up or both. NOBODY wants to end up on KZhead like THAT...and you know it would).😮 In addition, your artistic suggestions were PERFECT. The heart on the Rose Quartz, motif genius. BEST OF SUCCESS WITH YOUR JEWELRY BUSINESS!!!👍🏼🙏🏼🕉️ Thanks SO much again. 🌈💖🦄
Ok I have to say, this was extremely helpful. My girlfriend makes jewelry and we just dug up a lot of quartz in southern Arkansas. Our anniversary is coming up and I wanted to wrap up a bunch of the stones for her and this was absolutely the perfect video. Thanks for sharing this. 😁😁
Oh this is SO sweet! Good luck with this. Hope it all turns out well!
She will love that ! Shows you were paying attention and that is what we really love is being heard and appreciated or valued more than anything ! Congratulations 🎊🍾🎉
You make it so easy to follow.
I love using the copper wire. The properties on the copper serve as a connection between the physical and spiritual ❤ these are so beautiful I love your work
I appreciate the way you did this video. Plain, precise and very detailed and easy to understand. Love this. Thank you
Love this so much! I've been wire wrapping my crystals for only a few weeks and I adore this. It's so relaxing. I'm so glad I found your channel. You do a beautiful job!💜 One question...can you do a video on how you wrap round smooth ball-shaped crystals?
Am I the only one, but this video was very soothing and satisfying like a relaxing ASMR keep being beautiful inside and out lovelies ❤❤❤
thank you so much, I haven't wrapped since highschool and even just this more simple wrap made me super happy
wow amazing! I was thinking about wrapping some of my favourite crystals to wear as a pendant! Thank you
I love your technique. I have created at least a dozen pieces, I just have to tighten up my work! 💚
So amazing, easy to follow and relaxing to watch. Blessed Be!
I'm a brand newbie, and an older person. This looks easy to do and hold with my fingers. My hubby finds the stones has cut sometimes ones and asked if I could learn to wrap them. Quite a challenge for me, I'll say, but I'm going to do it. Will you share what gauge wire you used? Looking forward to more of your videos. And thank you
This is brilliant...thank you!
This was so helpful, thank you.
What a lovely ❤! They are all wonderful
This is really helpful! I've been wanting to make wire-wrapped pendants with my crystals. Thanks for creating this video!😊
I love these techniques and designs, would also work great for sea glass pieces. I like the way you make your bail and twist that to tighten things up. I think I prefer that to twisting the wires into ‘lightning bolts’ because I sometimes ruin the wire doing that. Thanks for the tips and tutorials.
Very helpful, thank you.
These r adorably wrapped ❤
These tutorials are amazing!!!! They’re very helpful too for a beginner like me :) Could you try doing this wraps with polished stones? Love you videos ❤❤❤
Super useful tutorial!!!
I'm a beginner at wire wrap and I found your tutorial to be easy to understand and the results were beautiful. I especially loved the rose quartz with the heart on it. That was really special. Thank you for your tutorial.💙💜💕
Loved all of them! And you make it look easy but I’m sure this will take me several tries!
I use to be the same way, we all start somewhere :) the best way to improve is to try it over and over again! Muscle memory
Beautiful
Have a raw opal stone I’ve been wanting to have someone wrap.. yet your video inspired me to do it myself. Such great technique that seems easy to do, thank you! 🖤
They looks so cute. Ilks it’s.🖤🖤🖤
Nice especially when first learning
I learn something new ever time I watch one of these videos. I especially love the bale(sp) part. Thanks so much.
That’s how I learned! Watching others + trial and error. Happy creating🌱
Great video, very clear and a lovely calm delivery.Thank you.
Thank you so much for your feedback🖤🌱
Wow. I'll be following this video, and I've seen alot! This is by far the easiest & best!
Thank you ☺️ for sharing! Love you video’s ! Yes ,It tarnishes after awhile but I’ve had a ring last almost a year before I turned green ! Best wire to Date for me !
I prefer sterling and filled gold wire! I don’t mind craft wire at all but I always see it mislabeled and shops saying it won’t turn when it eventually does. Bodily chemistry will also have an affect on how quickly it will turn
Thank you for sharing
Super!
you are amazing 👏 ❤️ 💖
I've always wondered what the doing nose pliers are for, thanks. Still try this bc out looks like an easy way to start
Thanks!!!!
THIS WAS VERY HELPFUL THANK U ILY
Yay!! I’m happy you found it useful 🌱☺️
Your voice is amazing
Thanks 😊
That is brilliant! I love it. I received some raw stones as a gift, so I am going to try wrapping them. Side note- your nail polish is really pretty! Is it an indie polish? Do you know what polish it is?
Thank you
I have been wanting to learn for a while now. My bf did them for me a few times but is over it. It’s up to me too do it I’m going to be wrapping soon too! I’m going to put your video on and follow along!!!
Feel free to suggest more tutorials!
Súper I like this
What are the 3 essential tools you are using in this video? Thanks Also what wire thickness, is it 16 Gauge?
The measuring part gets me 🤓
I never measure my projects :/ so it’s hard for me to be accurate on what is needed. I would start with a foot of wire and as you practice more you’ll get a feel for if you need more or less than that
I really like this video, it has the most elegant wire wraps
Thank you so much 🌱🖤
is there a particular gage wire you should use for wrapping stones.?
I've been tumbling rocks and figuring out what to do with them. A family member's birthday is coming up, so I thought I'd make a piece for fun.
I have a very smooth and rounded stone, what is best for that?
nice video, thank you. Tarnish resistant is not tarnish proof. The coated wire just resists tarnish longer than when it has not been coated. Also, if you nick the coating when working with the wire, the nicked area will tarnish even quicker than the rest of the wire.
Yes tarnish resistant is just colored copper that eventually comes off
Hi, I would like to know how thick the wire you used for wrapping? I certainly got interested in wrapping my tumbled crystals thanks for your techniques!
20 gauge dead soft!
How is it holding the stone. Do you offer written instructions?
hi can do a video on how to wrap spheres?
What size wire gauge are you using and cand you do the same with smaller gauge wire?
Hello, This can be found in a comment I made on this video but I am using 20 gauge dead soft wire. I wouldn’t suggest using anything thinner than 22 gauge unless it’s for earrings. But heavier pendants need stronger wire! 20-18 is ideal for this 😊
This video is great!!!! I was trying to wrap crystals without any idea what i was doing and tbh getting very frustrated. After watching your video i successfully wrapped a crystal and i feel rlly rlly proud of myself. So thank you for sharing your talents!!!! 🫶🏼🫶🏼
I know I'm a little behind here. Thank you for sharing. One question though. I'm missing the part where you started the bezel around :55. Looks like it's already started but I'm not sure how you got the first rounded part of it. Sorry if I sound confusing but I am confused lol.
I think you mean the bail but a lot of people didn’t understand so I made a separate video on it :)
Do you have another video of how to do the nail closer up?
I actually can’t due to the wire being so long and close to the table. The bail part I truly can’t make any easier :/ it’s simply explained at 55 seconds in. Create a loop/circle with round nose pliers, wrap one wire around another and twist until desired length of bail. That’s all there is to it!
Man this is making me realize I just really suck with this craft, it’s disappoint I wanna be good with it but I’m just tearing up my fingers and just really frustrated.
That’s one of the hard parts of this is figuring out what to do with your fingers/building strength. I remember being very frustrated with holding my cabochon/stone, keeping the wires straight and stopping it from slipping all at once is a lot. Just keep trying and trying I promise it gets easier!
Can you make a tutorial for your ring?
I was planning on that being my next tutorial :) both the knuckle ring and crystal ring
🙋🏻♀️ u never talked about the wire tarnishing part. Can u please do a video explaining please? I’m new and don’t want to waist $ unnecessarily. Thank you 🙏🏻
Understand difference between " tarnish resistant" and "tarnish proof"
What is good wire that don’t tarnish please help
I like to wrap a shark tooth but the wire was causing damage when wrapping around it, suggestions?
Aaahhh I need to get my hands on a shark tooth because I have the perfect easy design in mind! My mom has some so I’ll be uploading that tutorial very soon
Where do you get your pliers from?
You can get them at Hobby Lobby or whatever craft store you have locally. Probably Walmart too.
What size wire?
What I learned: Trial and Error
The best way to learn my friend!😌
Do you have any tips on how to do DIY crimp ends on bead bracelets?
Can you better describe what you mean? Like how to make your own clasp for a bracelet?
@@GreenWitchMystics yes 😁😁 you mentioned it and showed it on one of your TikTok lives ... I am trying to remember the type of metal used as well as I know it was different than the jewelry wire. Thank you for responding to my questions and sharing your tips. This girl appreciates it HUGE!!! 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
what type of wire can be used?
Any! I prefer 20 gauge wire
Hi, on your second stone your hands are out of the picture and I cannot quite figure out the wrap. Thank you for the last one
Please consider putting some sort of padding down to work on as the noise level of wire and tools grinding and hitting your work surface is painful.
Nice but but the tools clanging on the glass table is jarring
I thought the same thing. Lol .. damn Misophonia lol
Some of us aren’t meant to do this. I’ve tried for a year and I keep getting aggravated then I realize our energy goes into this so I need to chill out lol I will just leave this up to the professionals lol
It just takes time to get comfortable using your fingers & hands the way you need to for this. Everyone can do it, it just varies on how long it may take. Same thing with anything else :)
agate spheres
Getting that little loop just right is frustrating
This is too fast
I'm not complaining but I wish the camera view was a bit wider cuz u sometimes come off camera n my dumbest gets a little lost bc I'm a true beginner in wire wrapping. But overall I love it techniques!
Unfortunately due to how close the camera is I had to adjust the pieces by taking it out of frame since the wires would get hung up on the table! You can always rewind sections if needed :)
I know it will be very difficult to believe me but putting ring on thumb finger brings bad situations towards you whatever the stone is please take care
I do appreciate this video and your time. However half the stone was out of frame at times, and also your fingers (which is understandable) I love the designs, but as a beginner with dyslexia, not seeing the whole stone and wires in the frame was a bit sad. Thank You though, it was still very helpful.
Thank you for your feedback. However due to the camera being so close to my hands/table, the wire being long and catching on the table, it would have been physically impossible for me to keep the stones in frame the entire video! If I did not adjust the wires I wouldn’t have been able to demonstrate anything at all I did ensure each important step was demonstrated as clearly in frame as possible while also being described vocally(videos can also be rewinded) and any adjustments made off frame were intermissions between important info
I’m so sorry but too fast and out of camera a lot. Love your style and your pieces 🥰
Thank you for your feedback! I’ll be sure to have more zoomed in parts on the next videos☺️
Literally didn’t even show how to make the bail. Next
There’s not much to show, it’s just wrapping one wire around the other after making a loop with your round pliers :) I have another video shot at a better angle, only showing the bail, for those that had a hard time!
You're not actually showing us how to make that bail. 😔
I explain and show this 55 seconds in :/ You wrap your wire around round nose pliers to make a circle, take one wire and wrap it around the other over and over until you think it’s long enough. That’s all there is to the bail
Thanks!
Thanks!
