Hey! Did he end up getting lighter and if so, at what age? When he was a baby he looked like he was brown and then when he was around 2 years, he looked a lot lighter brown. He's sooo cute btw x
hey! yes after 1,5 years his fur color really got lighter a lot! This happened to many apricot poodles but not to real brown ones…

Is he calm or hyper and how does he do with other dogs? Thinking of getting one :)
Depends on how the breeder treats them as puppies, but normally they’re pretty calm.
We have different experiences with poodles. They are active and paying a lot of attention to their environment. We didnt know that from the beginning. For us we should have chosen a breed which is more calm and quite because we both are active & nervous too.
Biggest problems are driving in the car, going somewhere together with him or Sitting in a restaurant because he gets bored and will start to cry..
Does he really go on the toilet? Or was that just to be cute. Owner of 10 week mini here. Still nervous about everything.
I’m thinking of getting a mini poodle but every week everyone in the house is away for about 6 hrs. Is it possible to train it to be ok with that and not get bored and destructive?
hey, poodles - in our opinion - are really human focused. A separation for that long would not be good for them (especially when they are young). We would not suggest to get a poodle/dog if this situation wont change. you could use a dog sitter/walker to bridge that long hours but that will cost of course.
This is liget ( I know I spell it wrong hehehehe ) and plus ur poodles are so cute. Ima go buy one soon and it might be a female and she is only 2 months. She was born last year November 14 2021

@@user-sk7jr6sg5x apparently we didn’t have enough money. It was about 5k USD dollar. But theres a twist, were actually getting a kitten for free because my sister friend, friend cat gave birth. Ill try my best to train it like a dog.

thanks! we brush him every day and also cleaning his eyes to prevent it from tearstone

He’s so cute!! Btw, is he toilet trained? How? 🙂 I want my puppy to be toilet trained too. Do you wash his bum (dont know if it’s the term for dogs) after pooping or you just wipe it with pet wipes? Thanks much❤️
hehe, did you mean with toilet trained that he can go to the toilet indoors? We trained him to make his businesses outside and currently we have 4 rounds per day. After his “big” businesses we seldom cleaned his bum because its always without a rest. But we shower him every 3-4 weeks entirely. Every week we clean his little man and sourroundings :)
How do you train a dog to do business outside ???

what kind of dry food do you feed him?
its a german brand called Rinti…the category is called semi moist..halb dry half wet, and high in meat…we feed him especially beef because he has an allergy with chicken…that is mainly his diet 😇

I’m getting a miniature poodle puppy any tips on how to ensure the puppy is healthy? Ty
you need to judge the conditions/environment of the breeder. maybe he/she did the a first visit at the vet…otherwise once you will receive it, just let it get use to you and the new home and then following up with an appointment at your local vet to do some checkups. I think there are also some DNA tests to see what your poodle will have as dna related sicknesses

depends on your country and also if you want a dog with a good pedigree. We have just a normal one and paid 4 years ago 800$. During corona the prices went up to 5000$. Now i guess its somewhere in between.
