The problem that I see is that every video you watch, be it a movie, a short, or whatever... The comments are all people gushing about how wonderful it is. Even when it is not wonderful.

If there was a plot to this movie, I missed it entirely, save the quest for a safe place to stay. The dialogue was better than some movies that they show free with ads.
plot was the human fools started a camp fire in the woods, so the aliens saw it from mars, and decided to eliminate us before we would burn down all Mars to.
If there was a plot Dave it was that we the few, the brave and determined were fricking stupid enough to watch it all the way through. Honestly, I found the commercials to be better content. Hell, I purchased three My Pillows and a can opener because of this piece of shit.
I thought this was supposed to be about aliens and I didn’t see a single alien in it. Just some lame ass zombies and a typical survival situation scenario. The interplay between the characters, was probably the best thing about this film and it does have quite a good level of suspense. Keeping you thinking that something unusual and spectacular is about to happen. But sadly it never does, there are some quite scary moments when you think something horrific will happen, but doesn’t and it seems to be mostly about, how mundane daily things, are highly significant in a survival situation. It does create some interesting thoughts, about disease as a weapon, quite a potent issue post Covid 19 pandemic and some usual stuff about using drugs and racism thrown in for good measure, albeit in a nice subtle way. Shame about the low budget and lack of spectacular effects and no aliens, or it could’ve actually been a top tier film. Overall 6/10. I thought the acting was alright, considering they didn’t have too much to work with and running around in the forest and on hills, is pretty exhausting work. Good job by the cast. Thanks for uploading this, no harm done. I do remember seeing this some years ago, but I didn’t remember how it went, probably bc there’s not much that’s shocking or exhilarating. A pretty mild film and not bad for teenagers to watch. I was going to look for a colourised version, of the POW escape film the Wooden Horse, but chose this instead. Guess I’ll have to go back to my original plan now.

There was not a smidgen of interaction between the actresses/actors. I know what interaction is and it is NOT in this movie. Girl get sexed for playing along with a one dose pusher? No interaction from start to movie ending. You cannot point to one instance, nor video-minute counter where interaction occurs. I am Sam Mullins and you are a plagiarist hack.

For me, not worth it. The alien ship was intriguing, and the "zombie" chase scenes in the dark woods were good, but the bulk of the film was driven by characters I didn't care about. Wound up fast-forwarding and hoping for an explanation/resolution. There is no clear explanation of the aliens, their intentions, or the world's reaction to them.
A one hour movie stretched out to nearly 2 hours🙄

Drugs never, ever make a bad situation better. It doesn't matter if it's a flat tire, being broke or an alien/zombie apocalypse.
But they can take a good situation and make it bad.

The happy ending warmed my heart and gave me hope for future generations. My grandchildren will love it!

Non of this movie made much sense to me. When they 1st met the guy who stupidly took them to his camp he said they are all over the place. Well that was quick considering it had only been a few hours. But mostly I wonder where are the aliens??? they said there were aliens and I didn't see a one.

The film quality was good and the sound. I'm not sure if I liked it or not, but I didn't dislike it.
If there had been some story that was somehow logical, it could have been a great movie. It had potential but there was no intelligence behind it or was there?

I realized that I could watch an entire two-hour movie of a few people being chased through a forest like the one depicted in slow motions and really enjoy it - then I had a thought that it would be better if they found a way to film a marathon of real people doing 28.5 miles in the woods - in slow motion. I enjoyed the movie but once again the stupidity of people thinking that human emotion and relationship would matter after aliens landed and were killing the entire population spoiled things - like star trek being nothing more than a soap opera in space - never really answering any philosophical spiritual questions just sopping up the tangle web of confused emotionally codependent saplings and thinking such things really matter regarding survival ---- if these people were going to handicap themselves by human enslavement to stupid expectations regarding "love" and "commitment" why bother running around when they could just have let the runners get them in the first scene and be done with it. Together in the white elixir of whatever that was supposed to represent. Land of the emotional dwarfs -

Not a fan of this movie but I'm not a fan of zombies so if I had known altered meant zombies I wouldn't have picked this to watch. Other than that it wasn't horrible. I did finish it at least.
Missed the start of it so perhaps there were Aliens at the start. Parts of the movie were ok but lacking on Alien footage which is why I started watching in the first place.
