    • Yeah i think the same, but i think its more like an abusive relationship, because she romantize the music like "ill try to be the lover to your nightmare" or even like "but i crep into your heart" i think the boy/girl who was with the autor of this song was mean and ended up hurting really bad the person who wrote this wich leaves us to think this song explains her/his revenge towards his/her romantic partner, also we can think of this song like the autor was "the submisse", she/he could had some problems in his/hers life and partenner toke advantage on that and now the autor is doing the same thing to him,s/hes stopping being "submisse" and s/hes making the partner "the submisse" one, and its not just that, because if we listen carefully we can see parts like "you never know what hit you" we can take that as a way the autor had to say that he manipulate his/hers partner at a point that the partner trustes her/him blindfull so the person will never imagine the autor doing that so no matter what the autor do s/he'll always get out of that fine. Edit:(Sorry a got carried away and ended up saying basically the same thing you did 😅) Edit 2: and sorry for to many s/he i have no idea who wrote this, its the first time i listen to this
