In this video my Dad, I and a group of mates head to the Maldives which is located in the middle of the Indian ocean, To do some extreme fishing for a week. On this day David and I decide to fish landbased one of the uninhabited Islands for the day. To our surprise we caught over 20 different species between us. upwards of a 120 fish all up and got some absolute beauties in the process all on light tackle bream gear with soft plastics!
Rod and Reels Used:
. Abu Garcia Rayrex 1-3 kilo paired with a Daiwa TD Black MQ 3000 with 13lb Daiwa Saltiga 12strand Braid.
For popping I used the inshore and offshore spin stick by Nomad.
Lures Used :
Daiwa Bait Junkie Risky Critters 2.5 inch / Paddle tail 3 inch
Zman Slim Swim 2.5inch.

Yea well there you go, I reckon it’s probably the first time those fish have seen soft plastics and they seriously work so well as they are very versatile for so many different fish species 🤙 thanks for watching really appreciate it
