    • ikr. I wanted to build my house next to the ocean so I put it on this little island like, 6 blocks away from the mainland...lol the stairs are sticking out so much 🤣 I gave up trying to make it a normal island and now i'm just gonna build a little land bridge or something.

    • True. But wouldn't that be a little bit sus? Like..in a multiplayer world. You just peacefully build your survival/starter house,and when you finish it you want to make the storage room in a secret place. You just place a fake painting and you pass through it,leading you to the storage room. But then your friends or random players enter your house and suspect about the painting. They try going through it,and they just go into the storage room and steal everything. Or idk- 😂

  • A suggestion for anyone building this, you and put jack-o-lanterns or another light block at the bottom of the pillars at the front of the house. They'll be hidden behind the trapdoors, but the trapdoors won't block the light, so you can get more lighting around your house to prevent spawns.

  • I thought the animal pen roof was genius. I love the double layer design as well. Probably won't use that many stripped logs as that's a lot of wood. I think I would use more wood planks and cobblestone. Great build. Easy to follow and excellent design.

  • I love the aesthetic that your channel and builds have, that calm and warm satisfying rythm that it all builds up to. The homely feel to this cabin house has is enough to put a smile on any minecraft veteran, and a brighter eye on any newcomers.   • I love this house design and I am doing it in my survival world. It is just so resource heavy (mainly wood) because I live like 3000 blocks away from the spruce wood forest I gathered some saplings and started planting. It took me about 5 hours (collecting and building). I love it keep up the great work Zaypixel.

  • there wasn’t any spruce forests near me so i set off on an adventure marking my way home, found spruce wood :). i only got a bit cause it was dark and scary so i started heading home and will come back later but i’m lost and i’m know blocked in by my cobble stone protection waiting for morning 😩 edit: i returned home safely

  • Built this in our small survival server to replace my old basic house, it needs a bit of time gathering wood but it's totally worth it. Has all the functionality of my old house, just ten times as pretty, I love it and the two small stalls at the side really come in handy. There's enough storage space for me and the little fields can always be extended if necessary. I recommend playing around with the choice of woods a bit - this looks pretty with so many different colours :3
