There were 2 radical communist movements in bavaria that all rebeled and fought each other and a less radical socialist rebellion that desided to side with the freikorps against the radicals. The less radical socialist bavaria won and then integrated into weimar Germany. Under pressure from the people. In other words the secessionists were a minority and were never unified.

Not Pontus, not Marmara , not anywhere except some parts of Western Anatolia mostly centering around Smyrna/İzmir. Also who is the remnant Turkish Government gonna ethnically cleanse? Do they even have anyone to ethnically cleanse in this timeline? Like I can only think of the Cappadocian Greeks and they numbered around a few thousand at best. A community so tiny most people don't even know they exist.
