Let's hear from each of your Traders in a short video each day on what they did wrong that day, why they did that wrong. And what are they putting in place to make sure they don't do it the next day. That would be a hit series to watch.
Noted
@@mbellafiore19 Would be appreciated but I understand the difficulty logistically. Appreciate the work over the years in the content and knowledge SMB adds to the trading community. 👌
So much value here! Some key takeaways I've found "Every goal, has to have a plan.." Dr. S. -Feed information of HOW you practice into WHAT you practice. I can't imagine how helpful it would be to utilize such a powerful resource as Dr. Steenbarger.
👊
Great "Atomic" and "Clear" advice!! Very helpful.
I’m a new trader counting from the time I discovered this channel 8 months ago. I have been learning a lot from these videos, and have built a basis for my trading kb. This is awesome. A lot of thanks to everyone who have made and continue creating these videos.
A goal without a plan is simply Good intentions, love it
Good clip n thanks Gents. Jeff asked a great question at the beginning. I think that 'quality goals' vs 'quantity goals' work much better and keep a person more engaged over time. Working more productively and efficiently makes sense. It's like a good trade, it usually starts to work right away or not so best to be engaged in practices that lead to a better outcome. Thanks. Kirby
Dr. Steenbarger is always great.
goal without a plan is good intentions! spot on Dr. S!
Love listening to Dr. Steenbarger. Wish we could have the whole presentation posted.
We have 3 more parts coming from Dr S
@@smbcapital Awesome! Looking forward to them!
Thank you for the valuable advice. Dr.Steenbarger🙏🏻
I very much enjoy your videos with Dr. Steenbarger. His mentioning of "deliberate practice" resonated with me as I had previously read a book entitled "The Talent Code: Greatness Isn't Born. It's Grown. Here's How" which also mentions the topic. I've recently begun working on one goal intensively and have implemented the Daily Report Card to track & improve my progress on that goal. I'm starting to see positive results and just wanted to say "Thanks" for putting out these informative and useful videos.👍
Love hearing this 👊

Can you do a video of your top traders talking about their favorite setups?
Yes just like Linda Raschke said it best - you find the key they change the lock ....
Great video!!
Thx!
thanks guys

How to become a peaceful option trader ?
Haha 😅 next video?
The thing is i can't tell if i'm the reason that i'm not consistent or its because of the market's choppiness. I started trading a few months ago and there are days where the market is very choppy. For example the other day I bought an engulfing breakout at 9:35 AM on $FAST and then right after I bought the stock it made another bearish engulfing candle, so i got stopped out after that
Market is different. Wait for consolidation thats what I would do. If you dont think you have an edge of stock picking in the morning , I would avoid trade till you see some sort of consolidation... thats what I am doing and I was able to detect breakouts many times since.
Shorting on Mean reversion from the peak/upper edge of bolinger band but still below VWAP has been decent for me this bear cycle. But, it might not work tomorrow, so my goal is to lose as small as possible. I’m new so take what i say with the tiniest grain of salt. Good luck.
Live by the maxim, "Telling isn't training". All I saw in this video was a lot of "telling". The good doctor would be doing a lot of telling and then looking around the room to see what the reactions are. Not very gratifying for his audience. I am sure many would be asking themselves, "What am I supposed to take away from this?"
