This is nothing. You should search up Distant Horizons or Nvidium
why so i feel like it is reference to something... I guess it is just deja vu
96 chunk render distance on hermitcraft is crazy... you can see everything all at once
You can actually have that in Java as well, using the Distant Horizons mod. I know Doc used the Bobby mod to get a full view of his perimeter, but Distant Horizons isn't simply a server-independent render distance extension. It actually creates less detailed versions of the terrain for more distant chunks (LOD - level of detail), to be able to increase the render distance beyond what Bobby, or even Optifine, is able to offer. The default is 128 chunks.

One note- The nether roof has no structures in bedrock. Those whose portals linked to the roof, like grians, just puts you in the middle of nowhere, with no way to get down
Also - The email in the book does not work, at least for me
Sadly thats just a bedrock limitation. The built limit is actually 128 in the nether on bedrock instead of the 256 of java
Bedrock doesn’t let you build above the roof
Is there an addon to increase the nether max height? Would it work by putting it in the world download?
@mjcox242 The conversion should have unlinked all the portals on the nether roof. That way going through would be like going through any other new portal.

Nintendo Switch not so much maybe. "You need to free up 407MB of space to download this world. Delete over 500MB of old worlds. "You need to free up 407MB of space to download this world." Not sure why they even bothered porting Minecraft to Switch with the 2GB space limitation, really.

For anyone who is wondering it should be very obvious but to make it clear Decked Out does not work on this version due to redstone on Java being very different on bedrock and also the texture packs not being transferred over, there is no way to get it to work unless you have very advanced redstone skills and creat your own texture packs for the world 👍🏻

I was slightly worried you'd charge for this, glad to see you're putting up actual good stuff, FOR FREE, on the Minecraft Marketplace Edit: alright Twitter users that dissect every word someone says and tries to cancel people, I'm gonna clear this off: I'm not saying people being paid for what they make is a bad thing, but this would be another Mindcrack situation, and hermitcraft doesn't sound like the kind of group that would charge us for this. They have a free server that anyone can join, and world downloads on their websites already! It would only be a bad move if they specifically charged Console Players for it. Everyone else can have it for free so why charge only them? If they want to monetize anything, as a group, by making hermitcraft branded merch, instead of per-creator, I'm all for it! I'd give my own money to them if I had the chance, it just wouldn't make sense in the context of Xisuma or the Hermitcraft people to charge for the world download. The fact that the hermits would release such a beyond awesome world absolutely for free not only for Java, but for Bedrock too on the marketplace, is just beyond nice of them. I feel like they'd have all the rights to charge some amount of money for at least the marketplace release, but that'd be a bit petty and the fact that they don't shows their generosity. Also quick mention that Bedrock doesn't have nether roof, so a lot of linked up portals, an upper portion of the ''nether hub'' and a lot of cool builds such as the King's Court minigame that Ren had would have been deleted.
We need this with season 7!

I have been trying to download it on my switch but it keeps saying I don’t have enough storage and Minecraft can only use 2 GB so I have deleted 100+ old worlds so I only have like 15 left but it still won’t work. Have you had the same problem

I found out when I opened preview. The marketplace doesn’t work on PS4’s version of Preview, so as soon as I got the notification about the spring sale and saw Hermitcraft in the little image slot I immediately closed out of Preview and went over to the normal game XD
When you created the world did the builds show up? Because, for some reason, mine only opens up to a new world with the season 9 seed. No builds are showing up 😩😢
@@luku Did you click create world right from marketplace? After you download it you can click create world right there. That’s what I did and it worked. Idk if that makes sense or helps

I didn’t see this announcement video, but saw the Hermitcraft button Easter egg when I loaded up Minecraft earlier today! I couldn’t believe it and was so excited. Loved touring a Hermitcraft world for the first time. For all of the complications between moving things from Java to Bedrock, the team did fantastic! Sadly nothing can be done about the redstone differences though. Guess I’ll have to learn how to do the Java download to play Decked Out 2! But until then, I have this 😁

I underestimated how laggy Scarland was, now I’m paying for it oh goodness. Also the redstone is all janky and I had to shut down Grumbot because the pistons wouldn’t stop firing :( but I did find the sign Grian left under it

I'm grateful that you released this for free on the Marketplace, and hope the whole group decides to release other seasons this way. I've used the MCW files for the Bedrock edition, but had an issue with one of the seasons (forget which season): loading one of the bases did something that made the entire world unplayable. I could move, but couldn't open my inventory or interact with anything.

Thank you guys for doing this.. ive been wanting to explore hermitcraft for a long time but haven't had a pc. I downloaded this last night and spent a couple hours showing my kids just a fraction of the stuff there is to see!
This is amazing. Thanks for making this available in an easier to download format, but also for taking the time to further improve the Bedrock experience. Hopefully, Mojang fixes the ability for Bedrock players to build on the Nether Roof so that we can have both more version parity and the ability to fully enjoy the Hermitcraft map.

Just flied to Decked Out and it is quite musical to say the least lol (all the music discs are regular discs now)
The only down side of this. I was looking forward to playing Decked Out but without the resources for it I don't think I will. I will definitely still be checking it out just not playing it.
I was curious how decked out would fare, even just with the slight differences in Redstone mechanics
Tango did say he was sorry, but the game wouldn’t work on Bedrock. I’m just happy to explore the castle!
@@ChronicallyCrfty "Slight" is the wrong word. There are some major timing and structure differences between Java and Bedrock implementations of redstone. From dust lines on glass block "stairs" being able to transfer signals downwards, to sticky pistons not spitting out blocks on short pulses, to pistons, droppers, and dispensers not being quasi-powered, Bedrock redstone is very different.

Decked out will unfortunately *not* work on bedrock, like all the other redstone builds
HI X I just wanted to say a huge thank you to you and all the hermits who made this avalible to as on console/bedrock users, it's always a bit if a bumper towards the end of a season knowing that I won't be able to explore the awsome builds for myself. I have had a blast touring the season 9 world even though it load crashes countless times it still doesn't detour me from loading it over and over lol. I loved exploring Tangos decked out for myself, running and pretending a ravager was hot on my heals trying to make the clutch jumps I'd seen on countless hours of videos. So many great builds to see and explore once again thank you so much.

Will we be able to play decked out? Or does all the redstone stuff not really translate?
I think it's not playable yet, because if can be played it will be the main topic in this video
99.999% sure all redstone on Hermitcraft would be broken. If a 2x2 piston door doesn't translate well, these creations won't as well.
As a bedrock redstone expert, most of the redstone will not work, but some parts will. No qc
Some Redstone and farms might translate and work, but some won’t, and Decked Out certainly won’t work as intended. You’ll also be missing the custom sounds and textures, I believe. But of course you can still enjoy wandering around down there and getting a feel for it.

My kids (10 years old) have been following the hermits for 3 or 4 years now, and went absolutely crazy when this appeared on the marketplace. Thank you so much for working with Mojang/Microsoft and everyone to do this. This is so wonderful for everyone to see in person all of the fantastic things you folks do on Hermitcraft. We love you all, and this just "brings it home" even more.

I got so excited to play this and was loving going to everyone's bases. Saved one of the best for last, yours! I don't know if it's like this for everyone or just messed up on mine, but I think your base was deleted. Only way in was the beacon beam down by the copper aging.
I downloaded this on my Xbox, and I was finishing Stress Monster's mansion. I even made a story in her main tower involving a witch, a frog, and Bedrock's ability to change the color of water in cauldrons using dyes. The story is Grian was stealing magic apples from her garden, so she made him drink a purple 💜 potion that turned him into a frog 🐸.
