Hey Anton! As a proud resident of Toronto and a huge admirer of your work, I'm thrilled to see your perspective on our city. However, there's one aspect that deeply troubled me. Being someone who resides in Toronto and frequently interacts with homeless individuals due to my line of work, I feel compelled to address the portrayal of the homeless person sleeping on the street at 2:25 in your video. It came across as somewhat dehumanizing, and I believe it could have been omitted from the footage. I understand that there was likely no ill intention behind your actions, but it's essential to recognize that homeless people are human beings who deserve to be seen as more than just another peculiar aspect of Toronto. Apart from that, please continue your remarkable work!
@Pllutus Жыл бұрын
Toronto has the most high crimes cities in Canada , Brampton, Hamilton, London, Oshawa , Ste Catherines , Missisauga. With 30,000 homeless sleeping on sidewalks . People are living in ghettos ( India, China ) people get stabbed in the old horrible subway with no wifi and full of rats . Toronto has no identity with a fake times square , bland architecture , poor history and poor culture of rude people ignoring each other and 50 % immigrants with no canadian culture .
@jeanbolduc581811 ай бұрын
I'm sure Anton didn't mean to hurt your feelings. But the original video was filmed for a Russian-speaking meeting, and in our countries it is almost impossible to see this, that a person would sleep or live on the street. Of course, we have such people, but they are hiding, and those who are lying on the street are most likely drunk and taken away by the police

The largest province of Canada and with the most diverse and beautiful landscapes .More than 500,000 lakes , amazing wildlife ,all species of whales ( Belugas, bleu whales etc) , largest estuary in the world , fjord and the most impressive open waters ( St-Lawrence ) with big mountains, bio diversity and forests .

I was living in Canada (Vancouver and Toronto) and I can say that it is beautiful to see in videos and pictures but then living there is completely different. As a European it is hard for me to see a lot of homeless, lots of streets with people in drugs with several mental problems and dirty streets. Some people are nice but others are a little bit racist and even If they don't tell you, you will know for the behavior. Not everything was bad, there you can make a lot of money if you want and you have opportunities of job and you can grow up fast but the quality of life is not the big point of Canada.

In Toronto people get killed in the subway , on the streets , 30, 000 homeless sleeping on the sidewalks, 50 % imigrants living in ghettos ( China, India ) , a bland architecture ( poor design , poor quality of life ), a city with no history , no culture ( a copy of Time square) and a city of cars .
Very beautiful video!
welcome back!
fyi: winter temperatures in Toronto do NOT go down to 'minus 40C'; typical winter temps are in the minus teens & twenties.
Mother's Day in Canada is celebrated on the second Sunday of MAY, not February.

I live in Vancouver and it is so cool to see your perspective on the city. I have never been to Banff, but am planning a trip this year.
he forgot to show all the homeless and drug addicts in Vancouver
@@jeanbolduc5818 Hastings is the worst street that I have never been before...
Anton, you are the best travel!!!
i am Canadian and this video does not represent Canada at all .
Incredible video

I am Canadian and this video does not represent Canada but Toronto and the Rockies . Canada is more than that . Toronto is more USA than Canada ( high crimes, people get stabbed in the subway , 30, 000 homeless on the streets ) and the Rockies are getting destroy buy fossil fuels and oil spilling by Alberta .... this video
Thank you anton for these English version...
Tha ks Anton. Another great trip I got on my list. 😆
I think you've never lost your yellow bag...😊😊😊😊
Glad you enjoyed our country! As a Torontonian I reluctantly agree Vancouver is more exciting and beautiful.
I've lived in both for a decade, as well as cities on three other continents. Hate to break it to you, but Toronto is boring and ugly.
I lived in Toronto and I can’t explain how much exciting Vancouver is. Moved to Vancouver was the best thing I ever had done.
You don't need Netflix if you have a " Anton Somewhere" - in this video - "Anton in: the bear hunt" 😂😊😊😊😊
I am canadian and This video does not represent Canada but Toronto and Banff .. Toronto is more USA culture than Canada and Banff is in Alberta destroying the planet and nature with fossil fuels , high crimes cities with guns . This video shows the worst of Canada and not the reality .
You know I'm used to watching your videos in Russian language and your voice is so calming and so refreshing. Miss you content in Russian language. Ofcourse I understand a bit why you chose to stop using Russian in your videos but I just want to say that I really miss your videos in Russian! #love from India # medical student graduated from Odessa, Ukraine!
4:39 the coldest it has ever gotten in toronto is -33c not -45c. Toronto is relatively warm because of it being on lake ontario
I do love your episodes, they are great. But you don't have to talk too much. You show such beauties of nature, mind blowing. Give it some time. Let it sink.
As others have said, I hope you check out Quebec and the east coast. Montreal and Quebec City are quite nice.

I understood your speech)

Do you still intend to record Brazil? I'm Brazilian, but I believe that if you record, it will be a cool content, and show other people outside what Brazil is like, its cultures, foods and many more!!
It is unlikely because now he volunteers in Ukraine
"Holy Squirrels" - love it! If you just want a place to sleep you should consider youth hostels, You don't have to be a youth.
Hey anton, i just remembered, i watch Arab (Saudi) episode in your channel but I didn't finish watch it. I cant find it anymore, or it just my dream
It's a mirage in the desert 🏜
Search for Saudi Arabia. Oil, tourism and the big changes. Big episode.

Re: hotels in Vancouver... Few tourists from BC would stay in Vancouver proper(at least not often) The good hotels generally are pricey (and the one you stayed in was not really in a tourist category), but if you stay outside the main city-there are great hotels for much more reasonable prices.
Vancouver is the canadian capital of homeless and with the most dangerous city in Canada ,Surrey. Vancouver is more asian than Canadian wth a USA culture . The city has a bland architecture and not green at all.
I hope the man who said it gets to -45 was talking about the arctic part of Canada and not Toronto. 😂
COME TO BRAZIL! YOU NEED!
So beautiful, but too short😂
Hey Anton...why did u deleted Saudi Arabia vlog ?
супир!
Proud Filipino here. Maybe you can visit Philippines next time and experience more about Filipino culture.
Yeah, Eastern Canada starts at Newfoundland and Labrador. Not Toronto Ontario.
Mother's Day is celebrated in May - it just passed a week ago & the legal age of consuming anything like weed or alcohol in Canada is actually 19...
Great video, little out of sync, but still cool!
Showing Canada without the province of Quebec is like showing USA without New York city and California . Your knowledge about Canada is very limited and closed minded .... Quebec is the birth place of Canada , the historical and cultural proince , the architectural province of Canada with 500 years of history .
I have to laugh. Filipinos are among the hospitable people on the planet, even when they travel to other countries. I have visited Canada several times since my oldest friend (who is from the Philippines) lived in Vancouver. Eventually, you will need to visit the Philippines when the current crisis in Ukraine is hopefully resolved to do the island hopping between Coron and and El Nido and exploring Cebu.
Also, I would like to say that Anton is a great video maker and I love this channel and his content. Hope that you will come back.

Excellent JOB, thank you !!! Keep doin!
excellent job ? this is not Canada , it is Toronto and the Rockies. Full of ignorance .

Mothers Day is in May - in fact, today is Mothers Day! Family Day is in February
