    • I don't think it's the same, it's more like Wicked, because X and Magneto are still friends even while they fight each other. Glinda and the Wick Witch aren't friends anymore, and we didn't know they were friends until someone wrote an origin story.

  • Hmmm…the kids might love this, which is good. Too many franchises try to reboot as a love letter to nostalgic fans. The results are usually lukewarm reviews by old fans who can’t understand why their kids aren’t impressed…when it was clearly not made for them. For all the complaining about Marvel, DC proved that making everything dark and depressing guarantees nothing as far as a good story or box office numbers. Still, this feels like it used the same template as a Dreamworks movie about animals on some kind of adventure, and even the good ones can get tiresome. I’ll give it a chance and hope for a pleasant surprise.
