Stealthboys render players immune to VATS for as long as the effect is active. With how easy it is to farm these types of items, they can be used very often by players which make it difficult for players who are running VATS builds. These tips wont allow players to VATS through Stealthboys but will make it easier for players to battle against Stealthboy users.

Yea I just got destroyed from a stealth boy tesla user I have a light machine gun I shot him and 0 damage and he just stomps me?
Dazmon Womelsdorf sadly the only counter to Tesla rifles is another Tesla rifle or long distance shooting

On the berry mentats, in one ocasion when i tried i noticed it stopped working if the target player crouched, regardless if visible. Don't know if they fixed this or its still a thing. And can you confirm the grenadier perk actually works on the explosive efects of firearms and not just grenades?

Why not use HUD instead of recon? Also can you use VATS for grenades? Im hoping to use cryogenic grenades for pvp.

The grenadier perk only works with grenades not explosive weapons

since you know about stealth boy a lot I need an advice from ya yesterday I was trolled by this player, I grabbed a workshop first, and then i got ambushed by this guy who appear out of nowhere, he is a power armor user, didn't even bother to even use the workshop, he is just taking it from me Just for gun everytime I try to get close he uses a pepper shaker, and my power armor become literally useless since I can't put as much dps on him before I die is it possible if I able to use stealth boy in my power armor, crouch, and came from behind him in the workshop area to kill him? will he be able to detect me?

What happens if you scope them with a recon scope, then switch weapons? Will the marker disappear?
It removes the diamond symbol although i havent tested if it still removes the diamond symbol if you switch to another weapon that also has a recon scope
Just a heads up, berry mentats are easily countered. They have a max range of about 25 yards

@@TRonix23 i use stealth boys..... None of those tactics are very effective fam. I own on pvp. I can be pvping 1v6 and wreck all 6 at the same time. I guess the most effective way would be to stealth boy urself
Slight issue with using Recon scopes, if you do switch weapons the diamond disappears.

Stealth boys make certain tank builds completely overpowered though, because there’s some builds players do where the only reliable way to kill them quickly are vats criticals (which break anything). Recon scopes no longer work and it’s not good against stealth boys because you want to use automatic guns without scopes to reliably manually hit stealth users and the pip didn’t transfer to teammates as I always thought it should have. However explosive weapons SHOULD be the counter but (1) Grenadier does not work and (2) Explosive weapons suck in PvP because there’s some tank builds that are completely IMMUNE to even 4000 damage fat mans. I tried an explosive build and I either slaughtered Bloodied sneakers or stealth users (missile launcher can target invisible players still) who didn’t have the resistance or got slaughtered as they routinely 3 mini nukes with ease. From my PvP experiences the only REAL counter to stealth boys are Teslas...with the appropriate build with it (even Suppressor is necessary for it to make it really good) and popping stealth boys yourself. So what happens in PvP now? EVERYONE eventually resorts to stealth boys and Tesla’s which in my view is annoying because there’s nothing unique anymore. Yes VATS is op. I did a vats PvP build all the way back in January and dominated then with ease when people actually thought melee was still a good build. But the main counter to vats with stealth boy is ALSO overpowered...which is why PvP has always felt unbalanced in my view from launch no matter if I’m winning or losing in it. In my view a good balance would be to make stealth boy users lose their invisibility for a couple seconds when hit. That would still make it a viable counter to vats while not overpowered where yourself or teammates can potentially reveal them so a vats build is not “entirely” negated and certain tank builds can still be taken out of teammates gives the vats user a chance to kill him because there really are some builds that are night impossible to take out without vats, particularly when Empath mules ane duped magazine and drugs are combined with all the perfect tank perks
Grenadier does not increase the explosive radius of explo weapons!
