  • Hey mate(marling) my name is lloyd I live in south eastern Australia(victoria), I'm a professional fisherman and I also run a charter fishing boat for 6 months of the year! I am an insanely keen fisherman, always have always will be, hence committing my whole life to it.... and I am TOTALLY! ADICTED! TO! YOUR! VIDEOS!! You had me tossing up wether to start making hard body lures or soft plastics for myself... but I'm just soo taken back by the art of lure carving! The skill and intricacies are just endless, so I'm about to set myself up to be able to do it at home as I have very limited space, I did have a dry run but I wouldn't actually fish with what I made, hence needing some extra equipment(band saw, drill press, air brush and so on) to make my life easier as doing it all freehand carving and painting start to Finnish was just Impossible LOL! However the squid jigs I made and painted by hand are dinomite! but nevertheless I WILL manage as with the right equipment I am highly proficient, if I stuff up or fail I will always keep going until I succeed. I don't know if you can pm on here but I would like your email so I can get your details so we can communicate and I can send you packages...........BECAUSE! I will be filming it much the same as you, only to more or less track my progress and share with others for feedback be it good or bad, but in a totally different enviroment, on the other side of the planet, with both salt and fresh water fishing being in very close proximity to me thus requiring different styles for the different species. however me being such a fan of yours I would like you to have the honour of making my first good looking, functioning, fishable, lure 'O'FISHAL' and have it be marling baits certified! and then you will keep it as a thank you for the wealth of knowledge that you share 😁. You have ignited a new passion in me and I am grateful that I happened apon your channel all that time ago. I really do hope that you see this msg and we can get in touch! Best regards, Lloyd G
