True. Our biggest nukes can go up to 48km wide and 62km high(TSAR) we have around 15600 nukes irl, that much nukes would able to destroy a whole continent, the rumbling is barely country level, they’d only trample on cities which isn’t that bad

@@Ex0dus2 the building heights in a city would be higher than the titans too💀. Also we won't even need to use nukes. Smaller inter continental missiles would be enough to obliterate a 20 storey building high Titan's neck easily before they even land on a country.
@@zero4930 tbh like 1000 tanks per sector would end the rumbling very fast(like 10 sectors in total) as long as ammunition is being provided 24/7 everything should be fine

Based on their scale in the manga and anime the Colossal Titans should be much bigger than what was shown here.
Nope, they are only 50 metres according to manga. The artstyle exaggerates their heights, but if you compare then, they would be smaller than a 20 story building.

Theoretically speaking the founder has the ability to change the bodies of eldians and even create titans out of thin air. Eren wasn't even using the full power of the founder in the story because he was holding back a shit ton. But what if he wasn't holding back at all? Now that would be an interesting question.
Yup, Eren did hold back because he knew what he was doing was wrong and wanted to be stopped by the alliance he kinda allowed the alliance to defeat him. And I personally believe there's another part to this story or a prequel or something because don't you think it feels a little incomplete? Also the fact that he didn't use the hammering titans full powers, he could've caged the alliance in one place and they couldn't do anything. But if that happened in todays world, we could very well stop the rumbling and kill Eren with all the tech and weapons we have now.

fun but completely immersion breaking........... not saying we would win but guns from cruisers from the late 1800s made mince meat out of the colossals they hit.... even the marlian artillery punched holes in them, seeing modern equipment that actually is far more powerful not even leave a dent/scratch just throws me completely out of it.

So I seen people talking about what if the rumbling was happening In this new era of new tech will the rumbling be accomplished. Maybe with titan probably this era would defeat the rumbling but it’s truly hard to tell, we can’t forget the worm that is called the source of all living thing that got attach to ymir. They mention it’s a creature that could adapt to any circumstances of its surroundings like a bacteria. Living for so long around us in this new era it would probably adapt to this current era tech. What if the rumbling isn’t titans anymore if it’s something new now. So nobody truly knows if humanity would survive
The titans are titans because of Ymir's wish tho, at least if I recall correctly. So yes, the Hallucigenia could adapt but what I mean is that the titans not necessarily, since they're not the source but rather a "product". Also at the start of S4 Marley's officers mention the fact that with the technological advancements the era in which the titan's had basically absolute power was quickly coming to an end. And the technology shown in AoT's world is basically what we had during the late 10s/early 20s of the 20th century. So it's not a stretch to think that the titans and the rumbling could be stopped by modern weapons. Heck, as big and powerful as it is, I'm not sure how well Eren's founding titan could withstand a direct strike by a tactical nuclear weapon, let alone a strategic one.

In real life the rumbling would be stopped in a matter of maybe an hour or half an hour with all the artillery guns or just an atomic bomb while still in the open sea.
artillery wont work because eren cant control the titans to steam and blow out the artillery but 10 nukes are needed to cover the entire span of the rumbling

Eren just needs to protect himself by hardening and even if all the collosal Titans gets destroyed he can bring them back. Also all the titans we see are made by ymir so eren can create anything he wants and as many as he wants. He can also escape it easily by taking a bird Titan form.

The fact is, battleships ripped apart the collosal titans, and they were crappy 1900 battleships. We have exponentially more, AND NUKES. Which Should be able to take out Eren and his main group, and we have stragglers strike teams to take out, suffice to say this should be a doozy.
