  • An hour to review the car, but you missed entirely the best part; driving it. My wife has owned hers for five years, absolutely stonking performance, coupled with reliability that the Germans can only dream of.

    • Your wife drives a supercharged sports car that goes from 0 to 60 miles an hour in about 3 and a half seconds?Does she peg you when she is done drifting that 500 horswpower sports car?

  • I have 2009 model and the buttons on the steering wheel and everywhere else on the car are like new. No sticky or worn buttons anywhere, so I assume that one has probably not been looked after very well. You can see the middle panel with the door lock/unlock buttons has not been cleaned in ages. Look after with decent interior cleaner and there is no problem.

    • I honestly think the drive train is pretty solid in the face-lifted XFR with 5.0 sc and ZF but you should always inspect a car and warranty wont hurt.

    • Definitely Yes! It honestly all depends on how are you going to commute with it. If your journey involves long highways then it's the best tool. Super smooth, a lot of power, the way it handles at high speeds is something and it is also very refined in traffic. But if you are looking for something aggressive to tackle corners and jump through traffic not your best bet.

  • looking at buying a 2012 xf xfr v8 sc for 19000 canadian, which is why i was watching this video, i am trying to find out the bad things about it, in terms of reliability and rusting etc cause we have salty roads here in canadas winters...i heard it has aluminum body panels and galvanized steel parts, idk if that across all the cars like xf xj xk or if its just the xj and up.. i hear the water pumps and supercargers go after 50k miles also idk how many miles are on this car but can you let me know abou he reliability of this car specifically plz. it has the 6 speed in the one im looking at, but i also have a choice of a 13 xfr with the v6 sc but idk about the v6... id rather this anyway nice video and thanks for the info so far...

    • Hey buddy, sorry for the late reply. It is always best to do a full inspection before purchasing any vehicle. Look for 8 speed car. I cannot comment on how the Jags can withstand salt but it might be a better choice to get something with all wheel drive in such conditions. Good luck with your purchase.

  • Are the xf 4.2 sv a good car

    @johnlira3316@johnlira33163 жыл бұрын
    • Well it all depends on you and the car itself, they are no where near as fast as R models because honestly speaking 4.2 was already outdated by 2009, it would sound good but wont go anywhere you might as well just get Xj and start smoking cigars

      @autocurioso3142@autocurioso31423 жыл бұрын
    • As an owner I can honestly say the SV8's a very well balanced powerful enough sleeper, but produces "only" 416Bhp. That's more than a hundered less than the XFR and this says it all. SV8's a reliable, very comfortable, very strong, very well balanced grand tourer, the XFR's a monster.
