Stormsunder I am in for $989 for the all-in pledge, 4 years late and this is just for wave 1 and it is certainly not coming this year. Wave 2 is going to be 7-8 years late but to be honest most backers don't think we are even seeing wave 1 at this stage. Lazy Squire Games also have Wild Ascent Lavon Rising outstanding still which is years behind as well with no anticipation of ever delivering. Refunds for both were turned off sometime last year.

Kinfire Council did the 1$ pre pledge thing, I love Kinfire Chronicles so I pledged that 1$ even though I’m not happy with that gimmick. I received an email from them yesterday saying that they will refund anyone that wants their 1$ back after listening to criticism from their fans and backers. Something worth noting if that has bothered you.
$1 is Ok , if not sure ( only discovered it late or waiting more info ) , budgeting ( know you want it ) , or my situation- I live in New Zealand , I need to see the shipping if only approximates given.
Deliverance got nominated because its a good game. BGG manually deleted forum threads and dropped it out of the hotness. whether intentional or not, it happened. its been accused of dog whistling, and all kinds of other crap because of its religious theme. its still rated well because its simply a good game. Alex just mentioned he is still playing it in his latest video, because its a fun game. its gotten more hate for its theme than love. its done well despite its theme not because of it. its how i know what game you were referring to. its been surrounded by these negative voices since it came out. it always amusing to me when i see the voices of the so called tolerant show their true colors. haters gonna hate.
Yes, whilst I share very similar aspirations to BGG on the socio-political side, I find their clumsy and confrontational approach very counter-productive, driving people away from understanding (and making their own mindset changes based on that understanding). It's frustrating, as a more compassionate / collaborative approach is more effective than a dictatorial approach.
Lazy Squires also has a Wild Assent campaign in limbo on Gamefound and they are currently working on Ravaged Star. Its a mess

First I will say, Awards don't matter any more than 500 creators on KZhead listing their top 100. Just because 5000 people like it does it mean I'm going to like it. This whole deal with CMON worries me a bit. Having so many undelivered crowdfunding projects that once. I think I mentioned this on another channel, but Gamefound should offer some kind of insurance policy you can add onto your account in case any of your pledgea goes belly up and you don't get your stuff. 😅
Interesting that KS is doing a pledge manager. I've backed a game that used messages and whatever rudimentary system they have now and it was... jarring lol. Still curious if they'll end up responding to Stretch Pay sooner than later in this case. What you said about visibility on Gamefound is true though. Really needing to bring an audience is *tough* on the indie efforts. Speaking of which, I really hope you can cover Cysmic. Since playing it on TTS it's been a favorite of mine and I'm super amped for the Gamefound relaunch.

The bgg thing is dumb because you have to basically pay to vote.
Inside Up Games did the $1 pre-pledge for a $7 discount and don't seem to give 2...doo doos ... if you don't like it. It's an actual link to the immoral company in question too.
