Forget all recipes! Make this chicken pasta dish and you'll be amazed by the result! Creamy Chicken pasta has been a family favorite for a while! It's one of the most delicious pasta dishes I ever made!
I usually use chicken breast but chicken tenders would work well if that is what you have on hand. It's so creamy and satisfying! Delicious pasta dish with unforgettable flavor and fragrant 🙂 I can't even count how many times I made this. My family loves this pasta recipe a lot! I hope this becomes a go-to pasta recipe for you as well 😋🥰

Ingredients:
450g / 1lb (2 pieces) chicken breasts
1 onion
470ml / 1 pint heavy cream
180g ( 6 oz.) Shiitake mushrooms
180g (6 oz.) fettuccine
3 garlic cloves
Parsley
3 tbsp Olive oil (divided)

  • Would adding a bit of chicken stock be a good idea? I just started to get into cooking and saw a few videos where they add chicken stock with the cream, but I prefer the thickness you made with this recipe 😊

    • If you're going to make a big dish for a few mouths then I'd recommend using broth with the cream, you can always add some corn starch or flower when you're browning your mushrooms to thicken it up if you're not happy with the consistency.

  • Das Gericht wurde heute nach dem Video zubereitet und es war wirklich ausgezeichnet. Da keine Steinpilze vorhanden waren wurden Champignons verwendet und mit Pilzpfannengewürz mit Steinpilzen und Butterpilzen als Anteilen der Gewürzmischung verfeinert. Dieses Gericht steht ab jetzt auf der Liste der Favoriten und wird bestimmt öfter zubereitet werden. Danke für das erstklassige Rezeptvideo.

  • Shitake stems are very tough and should be cut off from where they join the cap. The trimmings are good for stock.

  • I'm gonna make myself this tonight. Looks delicious and tasty. Unfortately no fettucini, so I'll use ordinary spaghetti. Instead of parlsey, I'll use a mixture of rosemary, thyme and oregano for a typical Mediterranean flavour.
