  • Woah, her code-switching to American accent is so strong! Maybe it’s because she used an American accent from such a young age in Stranger Things that it’s natural for her to flip accents when she’s speaking to an American? As someone from London and now living in California, I find myself doing this a lot. And when I catch myself doing this, I do flip back to my usual accent. I never intend to code-switch , it just happens, and maybe I do it subconsciously for ease of communication 🤷🏻‍♂️
