    • Do you even know what acapella means. It means to sing without instruments, so imitating an instrument with your voice isn't really using an instrument.

    • Catherine Hand The reality of it is, a capella does not technically mean "without instruments" but rather, in a specific church style that did not have instrumental accompaniment. It is a misconception that a capella was intended to be without instruments at all, and it's really only the modernization of the term and the continued misunderstanding of its original intention that perpetuates the "no instruments" definition. Technically speaking, since a capella was intended for "no instrumental sound" meaning that if instruments were to play, they would simply bolster or follow the vocal lines, rather than make independent strings of music to accompany the vocal performance, in the truest definition, this wouldn't really be a capella... Simply because, even though the sounds are made vocally, they are intended to be accompanying instruments instead of accentuating. However, since the evolution of the term has been as it has been, modern interpretations of a capella ultimately lend acceptance to this style, as simply a variation of a capella... True to definition a capella would likely not sell very well to the limited appreciation levels we see in a lot of modern day music.

My point was to say that it depends on your viewpoint. Some people are traditionalists. To a traditionalist, this would not be a cappella. I'm not criticizing it, and I frankly do not care, but I think it's amusing that so many people read for what they want to see, rather than for what is really there.

    • Quasita A capella is a greek word wich means ''from the mouth'', so the definition of a capella is that you make music that only comes from your mouth. Wich means that this IS a capella. Everything of this is form his mouth (even tho it's added some effects) and then comes under the definition of a capella. I had a presentation of this at upper secondary school, I got top grade, I kinda know A capella
