The better you could, the closer to the leader (Albert Speer, his charme saved him by hanging). The people without charm and charisma fought to death on the battlefield. Amon could kill with a naked woman in his mind, inconceivable.

I truly feel this was Ralph Fiennes greatest role. Although he plays the villain in this role, he is instrumental in the film. One cannot forget the importance of the role of the villain. Without the villain, there is no challenge for the hero, there is no difficulty to overcome. I have always admired Ralph Fiennes, but it wasn't until this role that I took a step back in awe of the performance of a lifetime. A performance so convincing that I was actually able to hate him, to loathe him and despise him. He deserved an Oscar for this role. Hell he deserved an Oscar for even accepting this role. Who wants to be the hated and despised one? Take a moment and imagine what this movie would be without him and then you will understand the pivotal role he played. This is something you should look back on with pride, Mr. Fiennes, regardless of what your peer judges deem you.

I was intrigued by the scene where he was trying to understand Neesons business and profit margins and Neeson refused to tell him anything so he got so aggravated I thought he was going to attack Neeson! But he couldn’t because he respected and needed him to keep the factory going. But he was annoyed and irritated! I thought he was going to explode. Neeson just stayed silent! Great scene!

I agree and as good as he is in it as he was, I didn’t like Sunshine and luckily it seems to have been forgotten about. I also thought a Jewish actor should have got the role instead of Ralph . Schlinders List and playing an evil psych nazi was perfect for Ralph (he was extremely convincing), the film is utterly breathtaking, perfect casting and Ralph stole the show!

Fiennes TRIED to 'undo' the 'damage' with his ridiculous role in "Sunshine" ☠
I agree and as good as he is in it as he was, I didn’t like Sunshine and luckily it seems to have been forgotten about. I also thought a Jewish actor should have got the role instead of Ralph . Schlinders List and playing an evil psych nazi was perfect for Ralph (he was extremely convincing), the film is utterly breathtaking, perfect casting and Ralph stole the show!
Most similar performance to this it's defininitely Sergi López in the film Laberinto del Fauno as Captain Vidal. They also portray very similar roles in these films and even the actors Sergi and Ralph look pretty similar.
