9 seconds dead from 100-200 (uphill) with 550ps is a very fast time especially for such a big SUV 😱
f-paes 4 cyl of the worst Jaguar made every 40 thousand kilometers need an engine I bought one in 2017, cut 35.000 k.m changed the engine and sold it after 14.000 k.m And its new engine is starting to evaporate and spit out oil

@@goranianboy1406 don’t get me wrong it’s VERY impressive on its own but I feel like the competition from BMW M And MERC AMG are just better…… the 100-200 time though was just wow. 9 seconds is I believe faster than all the competition (don’t quote me on that)🤣
@@Man_Like_Maze you might be correct. From owner perspective the car is not able to as aggressively kick off from the line even on launch control it is quite calm. It shines on roll.
People who have a bit of engineering knowledge don't look at 0-100 km/h times anyway. Too many factors which influence 0-100 are present. Besides, accurate races are done with rolling start from 50 or 80 km/h, and relevant times are 50 - 150 km/h, 100-200 km/h, 60-120 km/h and so on.
Not an SUV lover, but I'm definitely loving this thing! Cool design and beautiful sounding V8.

Only thing comparable to this thing with a V8 was the GLC 63s, but now it's gone. So this is possibly the only mid size V8 madness you can still get, also with a supercharger, which is a rarity. This car is a really good allrounder

I love your analysis because it's from a car lover perspective. The car(suv) sounds amazing, performs above what it should. I am ashamed that where I live, pick up trucks are so popular.(I live in the States) They are fine if you need work done but the culture is toxic. I like performance. I appreciate a car that is functional and good looking and performs. The looks are subjective of course, but a small hot hatch will out perform a lumbering truck everyday of the week

Yea it’s definitely quicker 0-100 without using the built-in “launch control”. I had the pre-facelift and now have the facelift and both launched harder just brake boosting. And if you read the forum posts I made about how to permanently defeat the new noise attenuation programming for the valves it’s even more of a monster hehe.

I disconnected my exhaust valves and they stay open all the time. I think you mean that you could do it also by opening them before starting the engine and they stay open also.
Hi CapnT, pre facelift did not have launch control. My 2021 does have launch control as do 2022, 2023. When you follow the instructions to enable it, I think it is faster than brake boosting. How about a video showing us with and without using it? Thanks.
@@bobreviews Yep, and the lazier trans tuning on the pre-facelift hurt low end performance. That’d be a fun vid to do, I’ll try to get that at some point to see the delta between the two. Still seems to bog a lot using dynamic launch compared to brake boosting.

I wanted to ordee one which n it came out months ago but did only get 11% discount on the build price of 150k so did not get one. Pre facelifts are 75k with only 7-10k km. Tol much of a depreciation. Will get a used one

Der Tiguan r mit knapp 1800 kg und 320 PS macht ne 4.8 das ist krank. Der ist minimal schneller auf 100 mit etwas mehr Gewicht und 230 PS mehr. Denke der Tiguan streut etwas nach oben. Weil 0-100 war beim Jaguar nicht Grad gut. 100-200 krank

I just can not believe for 150 thousand AUD I can not have leather. That kills the car for me. Suede (yes technically leather but I want LEATHER, i.e. super easy to wipe down and clean) only options, well here in my country anyway. What are they thinking? What is it with VW R, and Jaguar SVR and other brands that presume those of us who want SUV with power want fabric? I don't get it.
