Hello, my dealer told me the sbc module need to be replaced and ı cannot use a second hand one because they need to install the software and add the registration number of the car into it. So, another sbc will have another registration number belong to that car. But it looks a kinda easy here. Is that true or they are trying to cheat me?

No, we have to follow the computer when to pump and how many times to pump.

Good afternoon, for just changing to a new black reservoir due to code CF2131 (not 100% sure) do you have to precharge with air to 2barg. Then fill the system with oil for bleeding. A local had changed it for my car but I did recall that they precharge after it is taken out off its box. 🤔🤔🤔 Regards.

Yes. You will loose 90 %of the braking power. Please don't use the vehicle!
Are SBC pump interchangable? Can a e350 pump work on e240?
Yes. It's only have one part number on the pump.

I have a brand new for sale in the UK. Mercedes as gesture of goodwill put it on a 53reg 270cdi and the pump is now for sale.

Yes, you have to disconnect the SBC before any maintnance or repair on the brake system or SBC unit replacment.
why are you working with bare hands?
