  • Thank you for your channel and for giving these tips. You are awesome!! Please don't burn your candle on both ends. I'm so happy that you are being structured. Which an owner needs to be. Owning a business and having an outside life can be very daunting, if not utilized correctly. I've learned and want to attempt again, only this time with more structure. I had an in home child care business while raising my little ones for 6 years. I closed shop because everyone wanted their home bsck. Now I'm an empty nester. My boys are adults, ones engaged the other just got married Dec 1, 2023. And my husband passed away this year, I want to attempt it again? Only in the crafting industry. I've been researching, took business classes, and have two generations of entrepreneurs. So I'm almost set. Keep up the good work. Peace Love and Harmony ✌🏼❤️🎶👍🏼

  • Merry Christmas! I can relate to the crunch... By now you must be done with all of those orders. Whew! I used to work production lines when I was your age. Since you are a one-person assembly line, it might be worth while to consider the following approach: Have a spreadsheet that lists all products you sell. Enter the products for each order and then you can come up with a list of how many of each item you need to make. Then you approach the work by making all of the bunny pancakes at one time. All of the Maxine fish at one time. By doing this, you only have on your desk, the materials to create one specific product, rather than putting away the white clay and cleaning off the orange pastel, then pulling out the brown clay to make something different, and this happens every time you switch from one thing to another if you're working only a few orders at a time You can save time by making batches of each product instead of one at a time... Then when everything is done, you just pack your orders by picking the products from trays of finished items. You can vary it by doing a big batch, then a little batch so you're not bored or overwhelmed by dozens of one thing or another. That's my advice, or input. It may or may not suit you. 🤷🏼 Take care!
