You need to see the Mock the Week he was on with his then girlfriend Sara Pascoe. They had the most passive aggressive domestic throughout half the episode. It was brilliant.

I’ve seen John on Sunday Brunch yesterday and they showed a little clip from an upcoming task. He was swearing again. I think I love him 😂

Was going to make the 5 hour drive just to shake Alex's hand. They have introduced me to UK comedy and I am forever indebted.

I've been hoping for similar. Someone that completely ignores the fastest time wins part, so it makes it really frustrating for Alex by playing by the rules but at totally their own pace.
They must have been briefed that it is part of the marketing for the show so they wouldn't do anything too silly.

As a canadian, I am not generally familiar with any taskmaster candidates, but i always find a "favourite" each season that i root for. I haven't seen all the options for season 17 yet, but John robins is definitely in the lead so far.

Paul is a Kiwi. You can tell the difference by sound. Aussies sound nasal and irritating, Kiwis sound like we're in a competition to see who can sound like they're so laid back they might as well be comatose.

Key here is to stack the buckets and then tip the balls on top I think. Then all the balls are in their buckets. They're just not sorted in any manner.

I think so far out of all 17 series, I'm thinking if I was ever on Taskmaster, John Robbins is probably closest to what I'd be like. And I'm getting that vibe just from this video.
I'm kinda guessing they're from the same area in the UK, because John Robins' voice sounds so similar to Neil Gaiman to me. like not just accent but timber/pitch/whatever
