I make apps for android as a pass time(I was a Chemistry teacher and taught 11th graders before retirement). I just wanted to share this because besides of my wife, no one knows this side of me. I do wanna tell my grandchildren that I can "make" the games they play on their phones all the time, but I won't. 5:23 Honestly, I feel like that's a big thing-at least for me, I can understand what's being taught, but trying to keep up with the _assignments,_ kills meh. Now, I am speaking as a high schooler (I was a gowd boi in middle school), but if I tried to turn in every single assignment for my classes, I would probably strain my exhausted, sleep-deprived body and mind to the point that I'd be getting panic attacks every weekend. It's happened. It's also happened that my grade for a single class each year has collapsed to a 40-60 due to missing work; then that grade shot up to a safe, secure grade of 80 because I turned in late work, or the work I was able to submit later in the quarter covered up the zeros sufficiently. I'm just thankful my classes this sem hardly give homework! (And are also generally gooder, last sem was shit) Also whaat is all this about middle school drama?? I have never experienced this??? Or maybe I'm just out of the loop (which I'm fine with tbh)
