Two very different Percherons
The two Percherons I have to start were like night and day. One easy and one hard but I think the hard one will be the netter one in the end.

So very glad that you don't edit things out we really appreciate The Good the bad and the ugly because it helps us tremendously
Percherons with good training, are some of the gentlest horses that you can ever ride. Saying that as I climbed all over one and could sit on her back when I was 4 years old. In my sixties, I have never met a more tolerant breed for basic trail riding and kindness toward humans.
Just want to let you know following your direction today after a 2 hour trail ride using your I say the direction and speed and a little bit of barn sour techniques my mare and I finally saw eye to eye and her confidence was off the charts and so was mine. Thank you for taking the time to break it down to the level of understanding for regular riders to understand.
I'm so glad to hear how well the two of you did.
You look like a little peanut on the grey! Wow, they are both AMAZING girls. I love them! You do such a great job of being the person each horse needs you to be. Thank you for sharing!
I really enjoyed your analysis of a horse wanting to be in charge and the other horse not wanting to be in charge.. that was really an interesting way to put things into perspective that I never thought of.
Just last night I was wondering how the Perchoron horses were doing. Glad to see an update!
That grey girl is a big sassy thing 😅
Tim, realize you don't do buggy training, but her focus and the others confidence could change pulling a large 4/6 seater similar to the Friesian drive. Place her on the opposite side of her dominance and set the other beside her. Job would force focus and keep her stimulated. Hope the owner doesn't give up on her. Enjoy your labor day weekend and hope your wife is doing better❤
I just watched the best part of my day. So many memories come back. Thanks Tim.
I was wondering how the two Percherons were doing. That takes a lot of work. Best of luck to their owner.
The grey needs a confident rider and LOTS of miles!! Are you sure she's not part mule🤣🤣😂? Sure has that stubborn streak!!
Good morning guys.Thank you for video Tim.
The grey is very nice....she carries herself lighter than the other name. No two horses are alike! Getting her mind to clickbis a bit of work, but she can bexwon over! Lots of work ahead but a great staet!
Awesome ! Hate seeing them leave. So cute.
Now there’s a horse that understands energy conservation 😂
What a job.
If I had the grey perch, I would leave her for a while longer. I am not sure I could handle her yet.😅
Im curious about buddy! Is he still in training?
Yes he is, I'll have a video of him out soon.
Why not use spurs on the Percheron. You use them so regularly on other horses. Is it because of their age?
Nothing to do with their age, it was their resistance. I didn't think spurs was the best way to work through that at this time. I do think it is about time to start them with spurs.
Thanks
Im wondering if the grey will always hang on to her dominant personality and will need a rider who will be confident enough to be the stonger leader or once she gets more miles and training will her dominance deminish so that less confident riders will do ok with her.
I think she probably will.
❤️❤️❤️
How is Fancy doing?
Good. She will be going home on Monday.
Can you do a video how to do a right lead into a canter. Cus I have issues with my horse
I just recorded a video about leads, it will be out soon.
@@timandersonhorsetraining what date though
Are these horses nice to ride? Arent they better to drive?
