Fulton County Superior Court Judge Scott McAfee is hearing arguments on two pretrial motions in Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis' indictment of Former President Donald Trump and his allies in the 2020 election.

Why is this courtroom setup with the witness box is as far away from everyone. The lawyers can barely see witnesses facial expressions or reactions to questions and so far away that they must have microphones to make themselves heard. The witness box should be up front where the court reporter is located.

And the judge used to work directly under Fani when he was still a prosecutor!! Fani was the senior prosecutor in his office and she was in a “supervisory/lead” type of position over him as she was the one he reported to for guidance and direction!!

I do not see the Court agreeing with the Defendants in either argument. However, I do believe the Defendants are raising these issues at this time so as to preserve their arguments for an appeal should an appeal become necessary.

The State of Georgia indeed brought their indictment to prosecute Donald Trump for speaking, tweeting and otherwise communicating, which is an overt violation of his freedom of speech. The state of Georgia is literally indicting a United States citizen for questioning authority. Something we teach our children is well within their rights to do.

An attempt to commit a crime has never been covered under "protected speech." Any law student will tell you you can't use it as an argument to prevent a decision of whether a crime was committed.
