Just struck me, when they say Ibuki is so young at 24 to be a team leader - and Wang Yibo as a Captain is the same age.
The way Yibo seems a baby with his hair cut like this and that smile of him (I'm very happy he's smiling more in this season and also concentrating on having fun) but he is deadly dangerous. He is not afraid of telling the truth, I always love the way he judges and he is always happy to learn new things. My baby🥺
B-Boy Kevin constantly reminds me of my younger son. So self-deprecating, so CUTE and sweet, but smart, focussed, so on top of what he's doing even when he seems like or indicates he has no idea. What a gorgeous, clever human being. My son is only 6 so far. But if he could grow up to be just like Kevin, I'd be proud. Edit: "Yes, there's nothing a hotpot can't fix in Chendu." And Wang Yibo's like, "O...K ... Whatever, if it works for dance, that's awesome!" Go the cute mad professor!

I love Ibuki. She's lovely in person. On stage, she's such a powerful, excellent dancer. But 33:39 I think she may have uncovered a hard lesson: dancing is about much much more than the individual.

The whole season they have been treating GoGo brothers a little too partially.. there were several times when I found other contestants dance better. SPOILER!!in the 10th or 11th episode, when they both danced urban and Yibo and Hang geng objectively commented, Yixing pretty much said in a roundabout way, that they did not understand their performance.. Yixing is always sour and passive aggressive when he starts losing.. then the show gives him candy to make him happy..
42:14 Disappointing that the focus is in Bunta as the choreographer, and he gets the congratulations, and Momo does not get to say a word. This is on top of eliminating Moony in the previous round - I couldn't see why it should be Moony rather than Xaio Wu. Is there a pro-male bias going on here?
I think its because yibo is the main assessment captain, I don't really know about their dancing abilities but he personally prefers old school or hiphop. His standards for urban and waacking are very high like AC or Ibuki's ability. That's what I think
But I did think Xiao Wu would be eliminated early on as well
Neither of those dancers pulled my eye, so I can't really comment directly on which one deserved to stay over the other. However, my opinion on the female dancers is that majority seem to be waackers. Again, in my opinion, waacking is just a weak dance style in regards to versatility, specifically when it comes to different styles of music. I haven't seen many female dancers on this show with the ability to freestyle or dance a variety of styles. Allegedly, Ibuki is a versatile dancer, but quite frankly, I just don't see it. Leg work is just as important as arm work. Full body control is key. I just don't find arm flailing and running around the stage aggressively to be very entertaining. I think it's possible that others might feel this way as well. Like Jackson has said in the previous season, sometimes it just depends on which fruit the judges prefer. I'd really love to see a strong female hip hop, breaker, or locker on this show. I think they'd go to finals easily. Literally any dance style besides waacking. I'm not a huge fan of krump either. I think waacking and krump are good skills to have in regards to street dance but not as a base skill or only skill. Just my thoughts 🫡

I still don’t think auju shouldve been eliminated. Not to hate but I don’t know why they kept waiwai for so long. She claims she is a wacker but even chika who’s main style isn’t wacking is more powerful than her. To me, she was the weakest wacker on ACs team. Waiwai cant choreo or battle.
I agree. I had no idea who waiwai was but once I saw AC's group I could spot her immediately. The best way I can describe her is a "lazy dancer". She looked like she didnt care for what she was doing. Her dance was very slow compared to the others and didn't have much power or pop to it. She looked amateur. Like someone who was taking their first few dance classes and was still learning the choreo. To me, she was the worst in the group. Then again, I'm often surprised and confused by the decisions the judges make on this show. I just assume it's because I'm not a professional dancer. Maybe they're seeing mistakes that my eyes can't see? Who knows.
37:50 is it just me or Han Yu is attention seeking and irritating. Last episode at the song selection too he was irritating YeYin so much that the person beside him pulled him to sit
