  • I am 4'11" and people may be surprised at how similar our (short people that is) struggles are with very tall people. Things not made with short (or tall) people in consideration: kitchen counters, bathtubs, chairs that supposedly support the lumber area - haha -, the way shelves are stocked esp. in the grocery store, the height of the table in many restaurants (I'm having chest compressions) and don't even talk about toilets. We, short people, do have one advantage. We actually can stretch our legs out on an airplane. One thing though about my perspective on tall people. After about 5'5", y'all are just tall. I can never judge exact height after that.

Maybe for countries with 1.81m+ average male height, it would be considered "only" 'quite tall' but not extremely tall. I'm only 1.88m where the male average is 1.75~1.76m and I get called tall all the time, sometimes very tall but not very often.
