The younger people will have no true history to judge from, tyrant's are living the only paradice that there soul we ever know, they think that live and destroy because it doesn't matter, they want be here anyway, to heck with the ones that come after them, it's a one way street. It's like the old song,. 90 miles an hour down a dead in street. Get all that they can get out of today, because tomorrow does not matter,

  • My Uncle Paul became my everything after the death of my Father. I was 6 when my Dad died from cancer. My Uncle Paul was my sanctuary and then one night there was a crash in the back of the house. It was my Uncle falling down dead from a heart attack. I was 11. It turned my already fragile existence into chaos. Also my Mother had died from polio when I was 1 1/2. So after my Uncles passing it was me and my Aunt. She only survived 4 years after my uncles death. I was orphaned at 15 1/2 and on my own ever since. What does this have to do with time travel? I don’t know, but hearing about the death of this mans father when he was 10 caused me to relate and reflect.

      @scottcupp8129@scottcupp81292 жыл бұрын
    • @@scottcupp8129 This is not something we are left in the dark about. It´s common knowledge since 1915. It´s just that most people don´t understand and it´s still not taught at schools unless you study physics.. But if you google it, it takes you less than a day to know all about it. From general relativity by Einstein to Hawkings protection conjecture, from Einstein-Rosen bridges to near lightspeed travel and the influence of gravity wells on the passing of time. To actual experiments that were done succesfully. As far as technology is concerned for any significant timetravel that you see in the movies, you need exotic matter or an infinite universe in a box to experiment on. Don´t have either. For REAL time travel you need a ladder.

    • From how I understand it, inside of a black hole's event horizon, time and space swap roles because of the intense distortion of spacetime by gravity. You can move to any "time" you like, but space is now just as inevitable as time normally is, so you can't break causality by escaping the black hole- you'll just fall down into the singularity.

Imagine him as a little boy wishing that he could go back and save his dad. The death of his father, shaped his future. What an intelligent and fascinating man he is. I would love to sit and talk with him to listen to all of his thoughts and ideas….what a fascinating mind he has! It would be so interesting and exciting if we could time travel, however, what kind of circumstances would we have to face…both good and bad? Very interesting documentary.

  • This would be fascinating! Going back in time, and being able to participate, could cause problems to the traveler, causing him or her to return to another (multiverse or parallel universe). To return to one’s own universe, no changes could be made. The traveler could only observe unseen, somehow! Once we learn how to bend spacetime by creating a wormhole or find another way to warp space, enabling us to go faster than light speed, if ever, would time travel to the past (or future?) be a real possibility. It will also be possible to transport anything (not just electrons) from people and other life to inanimate objects) instantly. This, of course, would be in the far future, as we are not even a type 1 civilization, or close to it, yet. We have had aliens, beings from elsewhere in the universe and multi-dimensional beings from other universes (perhaps) visit the earth and keep tabs on our progress, etc., that are many thousands and millions of years more advanced that have achieved the above knowledge and skills to travel to the earth. They could never have travelled here without having mastered advanced skill and craft and devices to do so.

  • I love stories about time travel, I have since I was a kid and some of my favorite movies center on time travel. I would love to go back in the past and change certain events, I think most everyone would, but alas, time is linear. You can skip ahead I suppose if you travel fast enough but moving in the other direction would create loops in the continuum and the universe seems to know that and will not allow it. Let's say I travel back in time. My new self would have to stay on that path, but when the time came I would have to travel back again, and again, and again in order to make that happen. It's like the final scene in the movie Twelve Monkeys. Madeline Stowe looks at Bruce Willis as a child and smiles because she knows, even though Bruce is lying dead in front of her, that they are going have another kick at the can the next time they send him back. I know, it sounds a bit off, but it's either that or you create an entirely new reality with each visit, which is even stranger. No, I'm afraid such conundrums are why time travel to the past is a universal no-no. Time is really a human construct anyway since we use it as a measuring device. When we leave this plane it loses its utility and ceases to be. But like I say, I still love a good time travel story.

    @SpockBorg5@SpockBorg5 Жыл бұрын
    • This is rubbish. The truth is that if it created alternate realities, then you could never alter the present. The problem with time travel is that most "flavours" of theory make no accounting for the fact that they would insist all points in time exist concurrently along a scale of universal cosmology. Anything less would present a phenominally difficult impediment. Much more likely we modify the human telomere in the next few centuries, taking steps to effective immortality... His work seem to suggest that thing may be able to go back in time and stop themself from going back in time. Ron is not the only person working in this area. I mostly study what is in theory conceivable and leave the experiments to others BUT from what I have seen it is not totally inconceivable that we can influence or travel to places we now consider part of our past. I have been looking at spacetime physics and time travel theory for about fifty years. I have not spent all this time solely researching time travel but I am more informed than a lot of people. Trust me there is a lot more to the subject than just saying the past is gone.

I remember being fully cognizant as I had been trying to control my state of awareness in those days so that I wouldn't get stuck in a bad dream while asleep. All i did was blink. Either i fell into a very deep sleep as soon as I closed my eyes, God knocked me out, or I dunno maybe I time traveled??? who knows. it was my usual bedtime and I was not exhausted or sleepy that night. i was never able to do it again. i didn't tell my parents because i thought they were going to get mad at me since I felt that I technically didn't fall asleep like they told me to.

I was driving down PCH1, in Ca., humming OMMMMM, then thought where I needed to be and what time I would get there. Instantly, I and my little sportscar were there. I got to work 20 mins ahead of time during bumper to bumper traffic. I use to work with going back and forth in time via visualization. Only my spirit could go or the one I was sending. I have dreamt of time travel physically, all my life. I hope someday I will be able to do it. Actually, I think Trump does it, right? Tesla time machine. How much luck can one person have!!! I tried Quantum interdimensional jumping a few times and couldn't get back to my original point. This timeline is different and not as nice as where I came from. Once, I was spiritually sent to a dimension higher than this one. 4th, 5th, 6th or 7th, not sure. It was a powerful Heaven realm. I asked my angel guide to show me Hell. I could only see down into it and hear sounds. Not a nice place. Dark. Heaven had a black floating pyramid, mountains, chapels, all floated in clouds and you could only see half of them. Like in Avatar. I talked with Jesus Christ and Mother Mary. A power there bent me into a full prayer position almost flat. When I came back. a power poured down upon me for 3 days and 3 nights and I couldn't speak. After that, I could see through walls, metal boxes, under the Earth, Heal sick people, see into the future and past and so forth. I couldn't get sick or tired. Thoughts and words are so powerful. Energy, vibrations. But, I would still love to go via a physical machine someday. When we reach higher dimensions, we will be able to go anyplace we want. So, we need to raise our vibrational energies. If I were smart enough, I would build a time machine.

  • If time travel is possible then I believe we are already doing it, the head wrecking fact is that because it's time travel and you can travel to the past which infact is NOW, so it's not difficult to believe time travellers are already among us. And if we can change anything ( the butterfly effect) nobody would know because we would start to remember differently because we wouldn't know that anything had changed, so for "us" we are living a completely normal life. Maybe some people would remember which would totally mess with their heads, so if someone is seeing the world as time is being changed, could you imagine what messing with someone's mind to that degree would be told they are insane and probably get locked up. Maybe people who are from the future ( a few people have made this claim) shouldn't be dismissed as crazy they should be investigated. Deja Vu could be when "time" has been adjusted. (Something to think about) if you have ever remembered anything differently maybe your memory's recollection could be real and really happened but has been changed . ( I did say this theory was head wrecking. ) if you get this far let me know. Thanks in advance if you actually got his far.

  • I believe time travel was achieved at some stage, i had a schematic on how to build a time machine many years ago that was mysteriously corrupted along with some other files. The only details of its construction i can remember is that a titanium frame or box would need to be constructed and painted with either copper or gold paint. it explained that in order for it to work you would have needed to generate a huge amount of power including creating positrons and anti-positrons into the field or 'portal or box. There is also the issue of the Earth itself, weather or not it is stationary or if it is barrelling through space at 60,000mph along with the solar system. I believe the machine would work on a stationary earth rather than one that is moving through space because the calculation of locality would be impossible.

To travel in time we need to project ourselves into the second dimension of time and that would allow us to fast forward or rewind through a specific reference frame. So then my question is, who is to say that very exact thing didn’t already happen (even multiple times) to OUR timeline?? Seems like weird events in history could be explained as someone altering our past and we just didn’t know it. And further, what if Thai Mandela Effect of false memories rally IS real and that some past alteration to our timeline caused ripples in our dimension and resulted in some peoples’ memories being changed but not enough to actually forget the truth.

All the broken bones would have to rejoin with no sign of healing. That, alone, is the reason travelling backward is impossible. Glad to see you changed your response. • To be fair, only by thinking in terms of what we know, things seem impossible. Archimedes spent many hours wondering how gold was stolen from the palace, until he figured out how buoyancy worked. There are always higher laws that govern the lower laws. Basic mathematics is governed by physics, if something in physics were to change, the lower laws (mathematics) would change with it. However, if something on the lower laws were to change, physics would not. That is what the field of quantum physics is for, it is the search of what governs the law of physics. It would be possible in those higher laws to go back in time before a time machine was built, and still get back the same way. Once we figure out teleportation, we will be able to make advances in time travel. Maybe there needs to be more true mirrors and convex lenses to speed up the lasers and increase mass while reducing the size of it.

  • time is not linear so even if you went back in time it would be a different time line that exists in that moment, it wouldn't affect the timeline(which is more of a dimension and not a line since a line is linear and that is not how it works, I use the word timeline to describe what it truly is) you came from and possibly you could never "catch up" back to your specific time/dimension

  • Personally, I think we have an inner-clock we are cognizant of. As children, time was slow and took too long to reach certain events and deeds. However, as time elapses to this present moment of a sixty-plus man, such as me, the speed of time appears to be on steroids. Now, I'm totally aware each day, week, month, and year(s) are a construct of strict measurements that can't be altered, yet I sense a change nonetheless. In fact, it appears to be normal for others too and we tend to be astonished by the same phenomena. While we tend to suggest to ourselves that youth is affected by the length of their life is ahead of them appears to be too long and slow in duration, those of us that are close to the end of our journey sense time is at another level. And only nostalgia can mark certain points of our journey. Now, notice I wrote that from a romantic perspective. And, what I stated included a lot of "feelings." Yet, we are told time doesn't exist yet we know for a fact time can be measured and noted by a human being throughout his or her life. That in itself proves both extremes exist regardless and at the same time...lol. However, we eventually realize the past and future are irrelevant and only the present moment truly exists. And, here we are to witness current discoveries that may alter time. Once you consider the constant reminders that life is definite, and this never changed throughout "time" of human existence... that we know of,...lol, and now you are introduced to time travel?! Wow!!! That changes everything! Especially if such technology is granted to each of us! And, now, life is indefinite? Right or wrong, this is only a means to have Godly powers! Now, consider the possibilities that may be utilized! Especially, with the advancements in DNA modification! CRISPR selections can and will extend human life spans as we know it! Especially, if time travel allows such abilities early in our origin! That may appear exciting, yet, maybe our downturn. It would change everything concerning the Tower of Babalon! And, that would confront the powers of "the gods" or God! Would that cause his or their wrath?! Now, assume mankind with life-extending capabilities existed at that moment. And our sexual desires as it is, the world population would have met the earth's ability to create abundance and to complicate our needs long ago! Kinda scary to me! But then, it's not like our situation is any better. We are at the point of assured extinction. That in itself is an issue people avoid yet it is the six-ton elephant sitting on the sofa. Personally, I think it is inevitable. Hopefully, I'm wrong. But, I'd bet on it in the great casino in the sky. Hell, who knows? Maybe we are the result of our future human race that came into our history to fix and alter our existence, and to extend our chances to survive long enough for them to exist?! "They" are exploring that possibility as I speak. Of course, the literalists of the Christian Canon scoff at such notions, but again, who knows? Life itself suggests such notions are possible. And, only time offers changes in human development. But again, the notion of time travel is too mind-blowing to comprehend! In fact, the possibilities of such abilities may and will cause detrimental consequences. For instance, to go back in time to extreme periods may require the traveler to be inoculated against viruses and organisms known at that time. Not only can that cause the traveler's death, but the human race once he is brought back. But again, maybe the use of CRISPR can cause resistance. Otherwise, time travel could be the end of human life. Or, maybe the "new" diseases are the result of time travel...lol. I'm sorry, but I'm musing at the whole concept. If anyone cares to share their notions on this possibility will be appreciated by me. After all, such thinking is a product of human creativity...lol.
